Historia
Holly owns the merriest holiday shop on Main Street. But right next door is the hardware store run by Declan Gallagher, the grinchiest man in all of Mistletoe, Idaho. With Christmas fast approaching, the small-town rivals engage in an all-out prank war, sending each other not-so-friendly season’s greetings. But when Holly’s ambitious plan to win the town’s Festival of Lights falls apart, she has no one else to call but her handy sworn-nemesis.

terrible narration
Revisado: 01-05-25
fun read and really cute, but had a hard time with both narrations, they didn't quite get how to perform different voices...
the story overall cute, but i felt the story developed really fast and the finished was quite sudden.

Historia
Living in a year around Christmas town has its drawbacks. The caroling, the decorations, the insanely cheery spirit, it never disappears. It's why I like to hibernate away in my cave - I mean housekeeping a healthy distance from the holly jolly spirits. And all was going according to plan until my nemesis, Storee Taylor, moved in next door to care for her Aunt Cindy. Without blinking, she turned my simple world into a real nightmare-before-Christmas, especially when she decided to enter the town Christmas Kringle contest - which she was determined to win.

coal stole my heart since i've been trough something similar to his story.
hated the "narrator" though, fun at times but it was too much.

Amazing narrator!!

In love of Lydia’s voice. She did an amazing job, not so much the male narrator.
Can’t wait to continue the story

I haven’t enjoyed a series this much in a long time! I laughed out loud sooo many times, I cried, I winced… everything. I wanted to know the end so badly but I didn’t want it to be over. Loved it.

Historia
Mare Barrow is a prisoner, powerless without her lightning, tormented by her lethal mistakes. She lives at the mercy of a boy she once loved, a boy made of lies and betrayal. Now a king, Maven Calore continues weaving his dead mother's web in an attempt to maintain control over his country - and his prisoner. As Mare bears the weight of Silent Stone in the palace, her once-ragtag band of newbloods and Reds continue organizing, training, and expanding. They prepare for war, no longer able to linger in the shadows.

The voice...
Revisado: 02-11-21
I have to agree with other reviews: the voices didn’t help. Specially Camren’s... she’s supposed to be a 15 year old but her voice doesn’t suit the personality nor the character overall. I even looked her up and she looks like she sounds: a mature 40 something year old woman. I couldn’t stand her narration honestly.
Mare’s voice is ok. Evangeline’s well... a bit weird. Personalities don’t connect within Mare’s POV and Evangeline’s... anyway. Good story and entertaining.
Also... can we love/hate Maven at the same time???
