I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Interesting story but ruined by an overly simple writing style reminiscent of a poor high school effort. I was hoping the narrator who is also the author was pronouncing the "W" in swords as a joke but I either missed it or he actually pronounces swords as sWords. After listening a while longer I found myself just trying to figure out what the higher ranked reviews of this book are talking about. I don't feel I wasted an Audible credit on this though, I'm now inspired to move to Colorado, spark up, watch a YouTube video about being a writer and making the big bucks with Audible like this guy.

Keep an open mind. This author has many references to collaborate his hypothesis. I wish I had time to dig deeper into them but I just wanted to keep listening. I feel like my history classes were a waste of time.
