Started strong but failed to deliver

After getting off to a good start, the story flatlined. A solid narration couldn't make up for last 3/4 of the book.

Good start, pathetic last half

After enjoying the first half of the book I was thoroughly disappointed with the rest. If I wanted to hear about shamanic healing and tree hugging I'd have bought a different book. The author thinks he's James Bond but comes across as more of a Walter Mitty.

The narration was the only good thing about this audiobook.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I was expecting silly theories but this is just outright stupid. It doesn't so much as jump to conclusion but rather begin with a conclusion and work backwards looking for "evidence". When none is found, it gets made up.
I invite the reader to do their own 5 minute research before purchasing.
