Absolutely Incredible

This book is great. The only problem I have with the story is that I found it a couple months after it came out, and to my dismay I have to wait for the rest of the series. The performance is fantastic, with only one exception: the *ding* sound that plays each time a prompt opens for the character is ear-piercingly loud. I listen to the book on my drive and I the volume of the *ding* is much, much louder than the rest of the audio. This means that when it's turned up loud enough to hear, the notification sound sometimes caused physical pain when it would go off. I tried adjusting the levels of the equalizer in my car, but I couldn't find anything that worked to bring down the volume of that one occasional sound without making the narration difficult to understand.

A Breath of Fresh Air

I've been waiting the entire series for this book. Shirtaloon has started to get away from constantly repeating ability powers every time they're used, although I admit that was helpful when there were so many abilities being used. This book demonstrates the true range of Shirtaloon's writing ability, and he does not disappoint. He has built not one, but several compelling worlds and locations throughout the multiverse at this point, and the surprise name drop of an old friend was the best twist this series has had. Best book in the series so far.

They keep calling him Ender Wiggins and I thought it was just Wiggins. I might be wrong there but it drove me crazy.
