When parents interfer?

The story is as old as there are forced unions. However, the culprits of this story take an extra feeling to judge then connect the two "Children". The past love of one beloved grandfather and the spirited grandmother wreck havoc on there grandchildren. And because the octogenarians know their respective grandchildren this story sends fire through the grandchildren until they are consummed with an unexplainable need for each other.

Twitchy palms are now what I look for in abrooding

I loved the first, second books in this series. I am holding my breathe to see what the outcome of the third and possibly final installment of E. L. James. I am thankful for the small but mighty cliff hangers included inside the series. I am especially glad how the female lead exercised her power to remain unchanged from her upbringing to demand respect from Mr. Grey. Where are the Christian's hiding? I am in need of a consuming love for the remainder of my life. Thank you to E. L. James for this wonderfully exciting glimpse into a modern romance with " toys." T Bolton

Bosch solves another one

I am becoming a Bosch fan through my brother and the live action series. But it doesn't hold a candle to being read the story and creating the pictures/videos in your own mind. I find his male portrayal spot on but the female voices not so much. The dialogue had me talking back to the book, if you can imagine that. I was calling some of the characters stupid but then still trying to figure it out before Harry did. I didn't see the ending coming at all. But it was worth it in the long run. I am going through the series, now onto the Concrete Blonde

People never know you really

When the book started I was hooked because of my police background, but as it progressed I began to sort the clues and try to pick out who was the suspect. Then even further into the reading the love story took hold to show the softer side of Detective Bosch. The length to which Bosch would go to protect his love and catch the bad guy was always paramount in this story and you felt it always.

Pirate Bear finds Helion Teacher and love roars

The Bear LeVeq saves an unknown woman while returning his sister in law home and the sparks from that meeting start to smolder. Once again a LeVeq male finds himself under the love spell but unaware how to resolve the situation. The fates help put him, Drake and the lovely Valinda into the same area when she is thrown into the street by the cruel white renters she lived with while attempting to teach the free people of New Orleans after the war. Ms. Staunton's performance is outstanding as she moves from character to character incorporating little quirks to make known that she understands the story. She has a good knowledge of diction both for English, French and Creole. Ms. Staunton has also included the diction of the old south in the 18th century under her belt. The entire performance relies on the wonderful writing of Ms. Beverly Jenkins. It is her vast knowledge of history and her wonderful way to craft an image on paper that makes you feel engulfed enough to hear the bugs buzzing, see the sunrise, feel the breeze in the afternoon or on the other hand to hear the anger in a protectors voice when his love has been harmed or worse taken. Ms. Bev is the BEST!!!!

This Personifies Romance

The relationship between a man and a woman are tested in this book. The female lead does not shrink away from any thing or any one because that is how she is taught as though she is a man. Then there is the day she meets her match and the testing of wills is on. She knows what she must and must not do per society however there is this sneaky thing called a heart and romance that leads you down a different path. That is where the male lead fits in and even when they but heads he still finds that he must have her. His only problem is self doubt about his worthiness. It all works in the end and their love shows to everyone except them

Tamed by Love

The start was with a spitfire of a female that needed no man for help of any kind. But when she saw he was there to assist her against her nemesis she began to change. She could not understand why but Love had taken hold of her heart with each endearing and thoughtful task done by Mr. Blake. This is how we would like a relationship to progress in the modern age. We women are all doing is by ourselves and growl at men who try to assist us by removing barriers or giving kind words in order to spend time with us. Suffice it to say Mrs. Jenkin's has hit a home run with this wonderfully spirited woman who finds she can still hang with the boys but be soft with just one special man.

Destiny's Captive held me CAPTIVE

The narrator uses just the right amount of emphasis in each scene of this delicious love story to draw you in until you can visualize the characters yourself. This is the reason why I love Mrs. Jenkins's books. She is meticulous in how she balances her characters and intertwines the location, the timeframe and the accurate historical events into a wonderful sizzling romance. Then she finds a wonderful person to act it out through voice only and it only become a better more complete project. T. Bolton

Destiny Surrender is Awesome

I loved the beginning as it sets the stage. Then you move to the middle and get the real guts of the story then finally you come to the end and it is the thrilling climax. This is the generic review as this book is soooo hot we can't say those thing about this book. I will singe your eyeballs. My ears are still burning from all the excitement it learned from Drew Yates and his Mina with the Little Antonio in the mix. This book shows you that you can learn from anyone's experience and that if you have a question you should always ask respectfully.
