Historia
Among the ashes of a dying world, an agent of the Commandment finds a letter. It reads: Burn before reading. Thus begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents hellbent on securing the best possible future for their warring factions. Now, what began as a taunt, a battlefield boast, becomes something more. Something epic. Something romantic. Something that could change the past and the future. Except the discovery of their bond would mean the death of each of them. There’s still a war going on, after all. And someone has to win. That’s how war works, right?

Clever, Fierce, Touching
Revisado: 11-14-23
You just jump in and get going. A love story that doesn't hold your hand. Characters distinct that vests you in their fight, romamce, growth. The multiverse is a light touch to the story, a spice the enrichens the bouquet. It doesn't become the focus, it is just a backdrop to the story

Interesting Concept, Prose lost in translation
Revisado: 01-06-23
Significant SciFi work with an interesting use of Theoretical Physics and Cosmic Anthropology. However, this also led to many situation of unnatural exposition in dialogue. There was stilted descriptions of scenes. I chalk this up to an imperfect translation, or rather, some things are just un-translatable. Like Finnnegans Wake to Japanese would suffer through no fault of the translator. This is what it is. Still an interesting story that is narrated well.

Historia
Like Tom Jones before him, Barry Lyndon is one of the most lively and roguish characters in English literature. He may now be best known through the colorful Stanley Kubrick film released in 1975, but it is Thackeray who, in true 19th-century style, shows him best.

a liar's glory days
Revisado: 10-23-17
he's an unreliable narrator. most of the tale is fantastically told, it's fun to try and parse the reality out of it. he's becomes so detestable at the end, It does become interesting trying to find anyone innocent of wickedness at the end.

Historia
Eugene Onegin is the master work of the poet whom Russians regard as the fountainhead of their literature. Set in 1820s imperial Russia, Pushkin's novel in verse follows the emotions and destiny of three men - Onegin the bored fop, Lensky the minor elegiast, and a stylized Pushkin himself - and the fates and affections of three women - Tatyana the provincial beauty, her sister Olga, and Pushkin's mercurial Muse.
