Insightful, informative, and so critically timely!

This book is very insightful, and the expanded addition could not be more timely. Snyder explains the incredibly complex history and politics of the region in a beautiful, respectful way, allowing time for the reader to understand nuances. The narrarion is great.
I am sure I'll be re-listening this book again.

Loved this book in preparing for my own exam

Loved this book whole preparing for my own sommelier exam. It captures great details about the wine industry (especially the sales side) and the various examinations one may have to take. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in wine, though those in the industry will likely find it more interesting then the "civilians" :-)

Great tips, but meh delivery

You know that feeling when you've finished a book, but you regret spending Audible credits on it cause you would've just donated it otherwise? This book made me feel this way.

The book had good tips. Great tips, if fact, which I've definitely learned from! Yet the storyline, the "couple" and all other characters were just completely unnecessary, undeveloped and thus distracting. About halfway through I was literally skipping sections to avoid listening about murderous investors or the "dream wedding."

The narration was pretty good overall - clear and easy to follow. Personally, I really disliked the way the narrator made the female character and the spellbinder sound - really weird and stereotypical.

Overall, it's a "meh." Wouldn't re-read, would recommend with caution and only in a printed format (where useless dialog is easier to skip).

I loved this book. I bought it on Audible and then also got the Kindle version (because because kept getting distracted!).

It is very well written and the narration is great. Some research sounded familiar, some was completely new to me. This book doesn't necessarily teach you something groundbreaking (in fact, you've heard a lot fo it before), but the way the author approaches it is great - with practicality and simple, actionable steps you could take immediately. I feel like anyone would benefit from its lessons regardless of background. If you feel constantly busy yet can't figure out where time goes every day - this book is for you :-)

A very well written book -- great story and fantastic narration!! Highly recommend in general and especially to people who have been in therapy or have struggled with a decision to go to therapy...

Fantastic narration, exceptionally boring story

Retuned it after a few wasted hours. Reminded me a lot of 'Eleanor Oliphant', but this one is not nearly as well written... The story isn't interesting or captivating, and even the 'twists and surprises' were just bland...
