In John Scalzi's re-imagining of H. Beam Piper's 1962 sci-fi classic Little Fuzzy, written with the full cooperation of the Piper Estate, Jack Holloway works alone for reasons he doesnt care to talk about. Hundreds of miles from ZaraCorps headquarters on planet, 178 light-years from the corporations headquarters on Earth, Jack is content as an independent contractor, prospecting and surveying at his own pace. As for his past, thats not up for discussion.

What other book might you compare Fuzzy Nation to and why?
Little Fuzzy, which was twinned with Fuzzy Nation.
Have you listened to any of Wil Wheaton and John Scalzi (Introduction) ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No. well read.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
I wouldn't...I prefer books.

can't listen to this
Revisado: 01-28-12
What disappointed you about Chiefs?
I haven't been able to listen to this. The reader sounds slobbery and it detracts from the whole. I've tried 3 times and just couldn't enjoy it.
What did you like best about this story?
I have read several books by Stuart Woods and like his products.
Would you be willing to try another one of Mark Hammer’s performances?
No, thank you.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Stuart Woods is a very readable author.
Any additional comments?
Wish I could find another version read by a different reader.

Historia
Appearances can be deceptive; but the truth is a dangerous thing.... On the night Brian Bishop murdered his wife he was sixty miles away, asleep in bed at the time. At least that's the way it looks to Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, who is called in to investigate the kinky slaying of beautiful socialite, Katie Bishop. Roy Grace soon starts coming to the conclusion that Bishop has performed the apparently impossible feat of being in two places at once.

Most delightful
Revisado: 07-06-11
The characters in Mr. Smith's Botswana are so well drawn. Precious is more than precious, she is practically super woman. I enjoyed the HBO series and searched for more of the tales. Fortunately, there are more. This is one of those series that you don't tire of before the author tires of writing the "same old stuff'." Lisette Lecat narrated perfectly for this book. I am very pleased.

Enjoyable

Her tale was well thought out and enjoyable. Look forward to a sequel. I have found myself drawn to young adult and teen reading material. Not so much tension about sex...in fact not so much overplayed sex.

Historia
Montese Crandall is a downtrodden writer whose rare collection of baseball cards won't sustain him, financially or emotionally, through the grave illness of his wife. Luckily, he swindles himself a job churning out a novelization of the 2025 remake of a 1963 horror classic, "The Crawling Hand." Crandall tells therein of the United States, in a bid to regain global eminence, launching at last its doomed manned mission to the desolation of Mars.

Boring

The author is full of himself. He tells a supposed tale that gives all appearances to be just about him. I haven't read his bio, so I don't know for sure, but listening to someone talk about himself is BORING

When world-class biblical scholar Bart Ehrman first began to study the texts of the Bible in their original languages he was startled to discover the multitude of mistakes and intentional alterations that had been made by earlier translators. In Misquoting Jesus, Ehrman tells the story behind the mistakes and changes that ancient scribes made to the New Testament and shows the great impact they had upon the Bible we use today.
