Historia
It's the end of Gaunt's Ghosts! No, really, the Tanith First has been disbanded, and Gaunt has been sent elsewhere. What will it take to draw them back together? How about a stonking big Chaos attack? The Tanith First are no more. Moved into another regiment under a charismatic new commander, the loyalties of the former Ghosts are put to the test when Colonel-Commissar Gaunt, long believed dead, returns. As the enemy overrun the Imperial forces, Gaunt must fight not only to be reunited with his Ghosts, but to stop all their lives being thrown away in an unwinnable war.

The Warmaster’s horde advances through the fire and ash of Terra's dying breaths, forcing the loyalists back to the Delphic Battlement—the very walls of the Sanctum Imperialis. Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters and Herald of Horus, has achieved immortality through annihilation—now he leads the armies of the damned in a wrathful tide, destroying all before them as the warp begins its poisonous corruption of Terra's very soil.

Emotional and brutal
Revisado: 07-31-24
High highs, low lows but… but sometimes it did feel like it dragged on. This book probably could’ve been 2 hrs shorter and the story would have not suffered. Still a good listen.

Historia
The Shattered Legions crew of the Sisypheum, broken and at the end of their endurance, find themselves divided - torn between following their resurrected captain on a suicidal mission or obeying orders to return to Terra and rejoin their Legion brothers. Following a series of garbled messages intercepted by the Kryptos, the divided warriors descend to the shattered surface of Luna. Here, their bonds of loyalty, duty, and their devotion to one another will be tested as ancient horrors of the earliest days of gene-manipulation are unleashed, and a long-buried secret is revealed.

Emotionally riveting

Fantastic listen. Very good. I would recommend this to anyone who likes multi legion operations. And there’s a good surprise at the end. Shall we say, Sang Primus Portem?

The best HH novel
Revisado: 11-02-23
This has everything. Bolter porn, intrigue, sacrifice, emotions up and down and through hell and back… and more besides. The nobility of the astartes ( some of them at any rate) and the brutality of the thunder warriors. Yasu Nagasena is of particular note. If you like some emotions in your grim dark, this will not disappoint.

Some real bangers in this one.
Revisado: 11-02-23
Talk about some explosive revelations! For me at least. Many times I found myself almost in disbelief and quite taken aback. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s a fan of either Cawl or Bile, or even a fan of the primaris is general. Many eye opening revelations in regard to these characters, and some that stand alone ;-) here there be heresy.

Historia
In the darkness beyond the galaxy, there are monsters. Some swim closer to the light, drawn by the beacon that is the Astronomican, while others stalk the Void, predators in the dark. The Carcharodons have hunted for millennia, but now they are drawn into a new blackness...the Dark City of the drukhari itself. Commorragh. For a thousand years, Chaplain Tangata Manu has searched for a relic lost under his watch: an ancient thing, once charged into the keeping of the Forgotten One himself. But at the brink of seeing his hunt fulfilled and the relic returned, it is stolen from under him.

Not bad, but not epic.
Revisado: 11-02-23
Interesting but it felt like at points it was just dragging on to fill up time. At other points you want to keep listening. The ending was pretty good, if not a little vague. Definitely a change of pace from other astartes novels. Would recommend.
