Thank you for being strong for all of us
Revisado: 08-27-23
Sharing your story is so beautiful. It allows young girls that are now hidden in adult bodies to realize they were strong too. So much of your story parallels my childhood, Thank you so much for going through the pain of your past to share your message of choosing strong. You’ve honored your mother so beautifully Sally💕 Thank you for helping me to continue to realize I am strong, I was strong. You are a gift to us all 💕

Loved it! Found it from listening to a pod cast Jesse was on for plant nation. This book is entertaining and will make you evaluate your level of tolerance and laziness. Need a kick in the butt? But the book!

Historia
There's no other book like this. Longtime running writer Scott Douglas marshals expert advice (including his own, cultivated from more than 100,000 miles of personal experience), and a growing body of scientific research to show how running can make us happier. How? Everyone knows that running builds stronger muscles and a healthier heart; science now shows it also helps develop a healthier brain. For those struggling with depression and anxiety, a consistent running routine can enhance the mental-health benefits of talk therapy, antidepressants, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Good for the wondering mind
Revisado: 02-24-20
The run on sentence I feel this is fit perfectly into my wondering mind. It was refreshing to know that others out there are getting what I am from my running. Having gone through a lot in the last 7 years and struggling with depression most my life, it was nice to hear all of what was said in this book. I’m not alone in running bettering my life or even saving it. Good listen for those needing a little pat on the back you’re doing the right thing.

Historia
When Chris McDougall agreed to take in a donkey from an animal hoarder, he thought it would be no harder than the rest of the adjustments he and his family had made after moving from Philadelphia to the heart of Pennsylvania Amish country. But when he arrived, Sherman was in such bad shape he could barely move, and his hair was coming out in clumps. Chris decided to undertake a radical rehabilitation program designed not only to heal Sherman's body but to heal his mind as well - and so Chris decided to teach Sherman how to run.

Absolutely loved it!
Revisado: 02-16-20
Just when you thought everyone was just running and saving donkeys you realized it was much more than that. If you enjoy hearing heart warming stories of kids over coming disabilities and hearing of kids who have given up on life making a 180, or hearing of people going through a huge struggle to come out on top.... you’ll love this book! Well done again! Loved born to run!!

Great running partner!!!
Revisado: 11-11-19
About a month ago I dropped the tunes and changed to audio books. I really enjoyed this book! Especially since I’m running while I’m listening it was a great motivator. Changed my stride because of this book and took 2 minutes off my 6 miles! Less lower back pain as well. Highly recommend!!
