Delightful!
Revisado: 07-28-17
This is by far the most delightful book I have listened to. The narrator is a perfect Harriet!

Historia
Early in her life, Josephine Malone learned the hard way that there was only one person she could love and trust: her grandmother, Lydia Malone. Out of necessity, unconsciously and very successfully, Josephine donned a disguise to keep all others at bay. She led a globetrotting lifestyle on the fringes of the fashion and music elite, but she kept herself distant. While Josephine was trotting the globe, retired boxer Jake Spear was living in the same small town as Lydia.

F-bombs offend me
Revisado: 01-04-16
Is there anything you would change about this book?
The story is pretty good but I can't listen to the whole thing because the language is so foul. I don't appreciate this type of language so I am returning the book.
Would you ever listen to anything by Kristen Ashley again?
Probably not.
Any additional comments?
Hollis McCarthy has a beautiful voice and did a great job reading the story but it is hard to take that kind of language coming from such a beautiful voice. If there was a warning about the explicit content and language I somehow missed it.

Just seventeen years old, Henry IX, known as William, is a king bound by the restraints of the regency yet anxious to prove himself. With the French threatening battle and the Catholics sowing the seeds of rebellion at home, William trusts only three people: his older sister Elizabeth; his best friend and loyal counselor, Dominic; and Minuette, a young orphan raised as a royal ward by William’s mother, Anne Boleyn.
