The dynamic duo of Hannah and Whelan do it again!

Well… Kristin Hannah does it again! The combo of her writing and narration by Julia Whelan is perfection! Not going to lie… I put them both on a very tall pedestal but deservingly so! Ive always made sure to tell those with hats or clothing showing they serve our country, “thank you for your service.” However, after listening to this, it give me a whole new level of appreciation for what those who serve and their families endure. Thank you isn’t enough, but it’s a start. The Women is wonderful and would highly recommend!

Not a typical sci-fi fan but I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to start the next one!

At the end of the book, the author says he reads ever review and it compelled me to write mine. First of all, I don’t think the story is a 4. I think it’s closer to a 4.5 which is a good score for me but 1/2 stars aren’t an option! Secondly, I really enjoyed this book. It isn’t so far fetched that I couldn’t relate or see the possibility of it happening throughout the book. I’m very much looking forward to finishing the others and then watching the series! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Powerful!

It just so happens that my husband mentioned last night at dinner about how things would be different if we knew how long we had… I paused and looked at him thinking maybe he knew what I was listening to but he had no idea. The story is so relatable on many levels with contemplation that surpasses anything I had dared to dive into. I love that this doesn’t make you feel one way or the other, that regardless of the “obstacle” presented, people will always try to divide but that kindness can overcome all.

Exactly what my heart needed!

As someone who just got back 3 days ago from cleaning out my very sentimental grandmothers condo who liked to keep ALL the things, it touched so close to home and made me laugh as I’m pretty sure Aunt Maggie and my grandmother are the same person. It was exactly what I needed and timing was perfect. As for the book, it is in a way a typical rom com but how the story is told is relatable and sweet. Moments of comedic genius if you’re paying close enough attention and had me laughing many times. Pretty sure my grandmother had a hand in having me listen to this and so glad she did!

I have to agree with some of the other reviews in that the narrators voice wasn’t my favorite. I listen to a lot of books and think the performance wasn’t my favorite but still really enjoyed it!

I downloaded this awhile back and finally listened to it. I love a good mystery thriller and can usually figure them out but this one kept me on my toes more than others. It’s a quick listen that you can’t seem to turn off!

I had heard about this book several times but I have to admit, I am attracted to book covers as I am wine labels and just continued to pass this one over. I was very wrong. This is at the top of my list of books to recommend. What an amazing story.
