Historia
Against his will, Thaden was transported elsewhere in a big flash of light along with millions of other Humans from Earth, to a place where they would train to become Contenders in a whole new world. Unfortunately for him, something occurred during his transference into the “Training” program, and he was ejected from the whole training process and sent into the open mouth of an active volcano for bodily disposal.

Relaxing to listen to
Revisado: 11-23-24
It has an interesting twist and reasonable explanation for everything. It's not gimmicky and goofy. Fun story and I'm hooked.
I laughed so loud at one part. Give it a try!

Historia
The apocalypse will be televised! You know what’s worse than breaking up with your girlfriend? Being stuck with her prize-winning show cat. And you know what’s worse than that? An alien invasion, the destruction of all man-made structures on Earth, and the systematic exploitation of all the survivors for a sadistic intergalactic game show. That’s what. Join Coast Guard vet Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut, as they try to survive the end of the world—or just get to the next level—in a video game–like, trap-filled fantasy dungeon.

Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

This was the first isekai/lit rpg I've listened to in a while that didn't seem gimmicky. I've burned through all the books in the series and can't wait for more. A very dun listen.

I would have loved to have had more fighting but a lot of character story arcs are pushed in this book. Loved every second of it and it was a wonderful birthday present. Keep up the good work.

Revisado: 10-04-23
I've read dozens and dozens of lit rpgs. This book takes a great concept and runs with it. It doesn't go over the top. The system is intriguing, the characters relatable, and the storyline pulls you in. Just bought the rest of the series.

Historia
For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four kings and a queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

I was just waiting for something to happen.
Revisado: 06-05-22
It's almost a stream of consciousness story. The main character is attempting to be wise in his relative to humans old age and he just comes off as arrogant and an ass. The characters are thin and there isn't any development. The only part I was slightly hooked on was the last chapter.
I'd be willing to give the next book a try but if it's more of the same then I'm returning it.
