Historia
A lost civilisation. A curse reborn. Dr Ben Kazin has only a blurred photograph and a gut instinct that there is a lost city to uncover somewhere beneath the Botswana cliffs. Soon, a whispered curse and a chance encounter with a local tribe lead him to discover much more than city foundations. The curse, it seems, is real, and will link Ben, his oldest friend and the woman they both love with a forgotten leader from 2,000 years ago, in a city of glory and honour that subsequently disappeared without a trace.

The Story is Amazing!
Revisado: 02-10-24
I love this book. I read it years ago and it's even better as an audible book. The way the present day is weaved together with the past is so very well done. Wilbur Smith is an excellent writer and wordsmith. If you like archeology, mystery and alternative history, you will love this book. I highly recommend, "The Sunbird".

Historia
It's obvious that Cletus Graeme - limping, mild-mannered scholarly - doesn't belong on a battle field, but instead at a desk working on his fourth book on battle strategy and tactics. But Bakhalla has more battlefields than libraries, and Graeme sees his small force of Dorsai - soldiers of fortune - as the perfect opportunity to test his theories. But if his theories or his belief in the Dorsai lead him astray, he's a dead man.

Classic Science Fiction
Revisado: 01-07-24
I read Tactics of Mistake in my teen years. Now in my 60's after rereading it many times, listening to it was a great experience! The book has aged well and is still a classic of Science Fiction. The world building is very sound and complex. The performance was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys military Science Fiction. A classic!

Historia
As far from explored space as any human has ever been, Geary and the Alliance fleet are on their own, protecting a diplomatic mission in territory belonging to an alien species with still-unknown motives. His already complex and dangerous mission is further imperiled by deadly challenges from other human factions seeking to harm or exploit the aliens. When another alien species whose technology is far more advanced than humanity’s arrives, the stakes are raised to the highest possible level.

"Blackjack!"
Revisado: 08-17-23
"Blackjack!" someone yelled. Oh my goodness, this was an amazing book! Blackjack is doing Blackjack things to save the Alliance. I listened to the entire series again before listening to this book. it flows so well, and the paceing is amazing. There are so many twists and turns that I never lost interest. Honor, struggling to do what is right, all presented in concrete ways with amazing examples. This could be the best book of the series, and that is saying something. I hope this is not the end. Regardless, it's been a heck of an adventure! We do need more Ensign Duck!

Is This Really Complete?
Revisado: 08-14-19
I loved the Void Wraith Saga. It was fast paced and the Audio book was amazing. There may be some hmmmm moments, but you can expect that based on every book I have ever read. I felt the character development was great. You learned to care about the books principles and that is always a big plus. I do wish Katherine and Nolan had worked out. My only complaint is that in my opinion this is not the complete saga. The last book ended at a good place, but everything was not resolved. The big enemy was not taken out. There is plenty of room for more books to truly finish the Sage. I would recommend this series highly, especially if you like space opera and science fiction action.
