Historia
Apollo is the behind-the-scenes story of an epic achievement. Based on exhaustive research that included many exclusive interviews, Apollo tells how America went from a standing start to a landing on the moon at a speed that now seems impossible. It describes the unprecedented engineering challenges that had to be overcome to create the mammoth Saturn V and the facilities to launch it. It takes you into the tragedy of the fire on Apollo 1, the first descent to the lunar surface, and the rescue of Apollo 13.

Simply Incredible!
Revisado: 11-15-19
An amazing story, a moving tribute to many who toiled away, behind the scenes and often in obscurity, to turn Kennedy’s dream of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to Earth into truth. Wonderful narration and moving prose. It is, without a doubt, one of the very best books of all time on an American era of discovery and uncommon unity in a common mission, notions so totally foreign to the America of today. Do not miss this read!

Historia
After an overhaul of leadership at the FBI's New York field office, A. X. L. Pendergast is abruptly forced to accept an unthinkable condition of continued employment: the famously rogue agent must now work with a partner. Pendergast and his new teammate, junior agent Coldmoon, are assigned to Miami Beach, where a rash of killings by a bloodthirsty psychopath are distinguished by a confounding M.O.: cutting out the hearts of his victims and leaving them - along with cryptic handwritten letters - at local gravestones, unconnected save in one bizarre way.

Fantastic in every way!
Revisado: 01-09-19
Preston & Child once again bring Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast to life in the next thriller in the long running series. Verses for the Dead is a piece of art, an interwoven puzzle with depth and dimension and a good ‘ole wild ride! Paired again with narrator Rene Auberjonois, this audiobook has everything: charm, wit, intrigue, danger, twists and more than a few turns. Auberjonois is a master! He IS Agent Pendergast, no one else can play the part of the enigmatic, southern gentile FBI man so effectively. Along the way, Auberjonois also treats us to his full repertoire of voices, moods and emotions. The combination of incredible writing and equally magnificent narration make this latest installment one that’s not to be missed.

Historia
Pete Banning was Clanton's favorite son, a returning war hero, the patriarch of a prominent family, a farmer, a father, a neighbor, and a faithful member of the Methodist church. Then one cool October morning in 1946, he rose early, drove into town, walked into the church, and calmly shot and killed the Reverend Dexter Bell.

Great Grisham Book, Disappointing Ending
Revisado: 11-30-18
John Grisham writes a masterful story and his latest book, The Reckoning, is no exception. The ending, however, is deeply disappointing. While very “real,” it is terribly sad and, I would submit, unnecessarily so.
