Too many voices, but great story!

I was excited when I bought this - I thought each voice would be a character, but just having them read different chapters is not relaxing- you just get used to one voice then another comes on, my own personal opinion- I hate it, I would not buy another book like this - but the storyline itself is great, I really liked it, I would read the book instead, too many narrators that aren’t characters feels confusing, but that’s just me. 😊

I listened to all 8 books in this collection, they were all excellent, loved the story line, and the location, the narrator does great voices too! I wish there were more!

A side of Steven I never would have known

What a great book, I didn’t even know he was famous when I was born, it was a very interesting story to go through his life I always thought he was such a talented person but I never realized how deeply he felt all the music he wrote. I also would like to say that the narrator Jeremy Davidson did the most excellent job reading this book, he put so much emotion into it and made me laugh at times!! I think he did a great job and I really enjoyed the book!!

Brought Tears to my Eyes

Excellent book!! I pretty much grew up watching Alex Trebek on Jeopardy every night, it was very refreshing to hear him tell his story and it makes me sad to know he’s gone, seemed like he was a beautiful soul, I’m really going to miss him. Read well by Ken and Alex!! Loved it!!

Sorta Depressing

Doesn’t talk much about Sicily, more about the old lifestyle in Sicily, she’s much too zealous about murdering poor little animals for food, and much too descriptive for me. I thought I would enjoy it, but I just didn’t. 🙁

I’m loving all the books in this series!! Can’t wait to read the next!! Hope they keep coming!! I visualize my favorite beach in Passé-a-Grille every time she mentions it and the beautiful sunsets on the gulf!!
