This book is interesting and funny, with humor in all the right moments. Timing is impeccable and I was a reluctant reader until this book. I recommend it to anyone who likes humor, mythology, and adventure. The heroes all have there different stories, and I find it almost impossible to stop listening!

I love dogs and I am 9 yr. old. The book has mistery , friendship , and the mane characters are a dog named bowser, and his ouner birdie. It's one of the best books I've ever read!

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Judging by other reviews, it seems a lot of people are really into this kind of "humor" and find it funny, but it just made me sad. It's dark humor about a kid more or less surviving his childhood as a ridiculed misfit. I didn't finish the book, it was too depressing, so maybe there's some redemption in the end that I don't know about. But it wasn't for me.
