Historia
Do you know that it’s almost impossible to find a successful writer who has published only one book? Virtually every widely acclaimed author has an extensive catalog of books. To join the elite ranks of those who write consistently, you need to learn how to stay prolific over the long term. And for that, the number one ingredient is self-discipline.

Writing Is Difficult But Rewarding!

Start writing
Revisado: 06-12-20
This is the book I hoped Martin would write. In other books he has mentioned how he disciplined himself to become a writer. In this work he breaks it down for the reader. Most important point I thought he made was to determine if you actually enjoy writing. If you don’t then is this really what you need to peruse? Highly recommend.

Historia
Have you ever wondered what separates people who think bigger from people who set their bars low? What makes one person accept low standards and another person constantly raise them? What drives a person who's optimizing every single aspect of her life, and what causes another person to maintain the status quo? I found this topic so fascinating, I decided to find out the answer for myself and write a book about it.

How to think big and achieve
Revisado: 06-12-20
This was another great book from Martin Meadows. It was well researched and narrated. The author did a wonderful job of distilling the works and lives of others on this subject in a way that makes the information accessible.

Great set of actionable life changing truths
Revisado: 09-14-19
I received this set free for review. I am a long term fan of the works of Martin Meadows. I read widely and feel he does a great job of synthesizing the latest research on diet, habits and self improvement. I also appreciate he looks deeper into common beliefs and checks what the actual data tells us.

Many problems with this book
Revisado: 07-07-19
There are some good take aways. Knowing when to stop the bus and pouring into top performers. The author relies too heavily on his experience only. He tried investing in one person he felt was a walker and it didn’t work out so he gave up. He stretched his bus metaphor to relationships and gave the advice to find a new bus if your boy/ girl friend is a walker or rider. He had set up a shopping spree to help his teachers dress for work. He didn’t like the reaction of a few people so he stopped doing it. To be a leader is to add value not to get offended and remove value. Naming the school after himself fit with the prideful tone of the book. Compared to other leadership books this one did not compete.

All Hype
Revisado: 02-13-19
Whole premises is work 10 times as hard. I don’t think her really developed the concept of the effort to outcome. A very long book of just here “go,go,go”. Would have preferred some research based content.
