Not Really A Book It’s A Prospectus
Revisado: 02-15-24
I would recommend his other investment books, as this is pretty much a prospectus for his investment fund. While I did learn more about private equity investments, this is basically charging for learning about a private fund that he is partners with. Left me feeling odd, and sort of manipulated.

Members of the military’s special operations branches share a closely guarded secret: They love their jobs. They relish the opportunity to fight. They are thankful for it, even, and hopeful that maybe they’ll get to kill a bunch of bad guys while they’re at it. You don’t necessarily need to thank them for their service - the pleasure is all theirs. In this hilarious and personal memoir, listeners ride shotgun alongside former Army Ranger and private military contractor and current social media phenomenon Mat Best, into the action and its aftermath, both abroad and at home.

Snarky But Good
Revisado: 02-26-23
This author gives you a behind the scenes look at what it's like in the operator world. Written in a semi comedic manner that treats you like one of the insiders to what was going on. Some might also say too much info. Not for the easily triggered. Some people that review don't like it that military tell their stories, then one star all the books they can. I can see their point, but Seals are kind of like pro sports players. What do they do once their short window is over. Everybody has got to do something even when retired. Im glad to have good books like these to read and hear. I really like Goggins books too. Hey life's an adventure, nice that we can tag along on some of these.

Clint Emerson is the only SEAL ever inducted into the International Spy Museum. Operating from the shadows, with an instinct for running towards trouble, his unique skill set made him the perfect hybrid of elite and modern day counterintelligence agent. Emerson spent his career on the bleeding edge of intelligence and operations, often specializing in solo missions that took advantage of subterfuge, improvisation, the best in recon and surveillance tech, and even elements of Hollywood disguise to combat the changing global battlefield.

Lots of NEW Information On Healing Disease
Revisado: 02-08-22
Lots of information on new treatments currently available, and upcoming on the cutting edge of medical technology. I have read about four chapters so far, and this looks like there are some real answers instead of just covering up the pain.
Robbins brought a bunch of top medical professionals together to address what is ailing us worldwide. What to do. How to do it. Where to get it. He used some of the included treatments to heal his own injuries without surgery. Very promising stuff I cant wait to try for me and my family's medical issues. This is not your average doctor treatments which just address the symptoms.

Historia
It's a sad and eerie harbinger of our times that the Oprah-watching, crystal-rubbing, Whole Foods-shopping moms and their whipped attorney husbands have taken the ability to reason away from the poor schlub who makes the Bloody Marys. What we used to settle with common sense or a fist, we now settle with hand sanitizer and lawyers. Adam Carolla has had enough of this insanity and he's here to help us get our collective balls back.

While the world seems to be in love with the idea of tiny houses and minimalism, many of us simply can't purge it all and start from nothing. Yet a home with too much stuff is difficult to maintain, so where do we begin? Add in paralyzing emotional attachments and constant life challenges, and it can feel almost impossible to make real decluttering progress.

One of the better books
Revisado: 01-26-21
I’m kind of a hoarder of clutter organizing books. This is one of the best ones, up there with the Kondo best seller. Get one from Walsh and that will be all you need.
The narration by the author is great. It’s a fun read.
Once you figure out why you have too much stuff, just messy or psychological, then you can pare down to what makes you feels good. I have a lot of stuff still, but I use a lot of it. Got rid of the vacation house full of stuff. Just remember, the more stuff you have, the more maintenance that stuff needs. Your stuff starts to own you, taking up your time and resources. Stuff is heavy, it weighs on you. It’s a journey not a destination. There is peace in less stuff.

Historia
Eleanor, the charming manager of a cozy tea shop, enjoys the transportive ritual of making a cup of Masala Chai tea, reminisces about the tea's origins, and delights in the beauty of her quaint English village during the holidays. Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

Historia
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

Sugar Coats Nothing
Revisado: 02-12-16
The author points out the harsh realities of failure, what it takes to fail, what does not work, and why it does not work.
He gives examples of business models, and the money making levels of each one. He gives examples of types of business that have the ability to produce wages, moderate income, comfortable cash, Wealth, and big time millions.
He does not pick out a vocation or specialty for you and say do this. He shows you how he did it, how financial gurus do it (selling books and seminars), and how you could do it if thats what you want and you are willing to do the actions necessary. I took a lot of notes on what he says.
Many things are not pretty, and points out why what you have been doing is wrong, and that you have been wasting your time. Its hard news, and many will be upset to face reality and take his advice and change tactics.
If you do what you love, the money will follow. That is one of the fastest ways to bankruptcy he points out in detail. And I can attest I have seen this play out time and time again.
He shows you how to avoid pain, if you are willing to listen. Sadly most will not.
I am setting up things from his recommendations that will most likely net 300k a year. It is going to be some real work, and I will have to put a lot on the line, the entrance to the field has a high bar, but none of the easy businesses to get into make you that kind of coin.
He points out that even if a millionaire tells you his secrets of success and exactly how to do it like he has done, almost no one will follow the road map, I find that sad. I want to be the exception for myself and my family. When a multi millionaire tells me how to do it, I for one refuse to bash his book because he talks down to those who sleep walk through life when the answer is handed to them,
