I enjoyed the storyline, one without foul language. I couldn’t stop listening. The symbol of butterflies and life gave the book an extra sparkle.

Beautiful Story

I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Michelle Obama eloquently took the reader along with her, sharing her thoughts, experiences, and insights. I am glad that she took the time and transparently encouraged all of us to pull down unjust walls of hatred and build a better nation.

This book did not end like I anticipated it would. The ending really did surprise me. I will not spoil it for you; however, I think it is good for us living today to know this historic account. It certainly makes me stop and pray.

Powerful - compelling - convicting

Be Light read like a gourmet meal that you want to devour without leaving a single crum behind. I felt captivated as if poured in to and empowered to boldly live in a darkened world. I am convicted of the need to soak in God's Word with the purpose of not just spiritually feeding me, rather for the purpose of allowing the Light to naturally shine from my innermost being. I am encouraged to test out the laser strength of the Light within. I am convinced that there is no power of darkness that can defeat the Light of my Lord Jesus Christ as it emits from me to touch lives around me. So I challenge myself to test its strength and see people healed, delivered, and set free for all eternity. I am so in love with the Light Giver ---Jesus!---and trust Him to shine!

This book radically compels the living out of my faith. The scientific tidbits scattered throughout also adds an interesting flavor and support of concepts presented. ("Why is the sky blue?")

I had the honor of listening to Pastor Samuel Rodriguez preach and can say that the boldness and confidence as a disciple of Jesus shines brightly in him both behind the pulpit and in book form.

I am privileged to recommend this book---clear your schedule as you too may want to keep listening to it or reading it. I picked it up just yesterday and finished it today. I will most likely go back through it again!

May the Lord Jesus richly bless you and shine His face upon you as you read and meditate on the thoughts expressed in Be Light!

Beautifully written, practical, and convicting

Where does Live Love Lead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I had heard Pastor Brian speak at the conference, but did not know the depth and experience he held until reading this book. He speaks with great anointing and leading of the Holy Spirit. This book was one that I just kept listening to large chunks at a time because I did not want to press stop.

What did you like best about this story?

This really is a must read, or must here. In particular, some areas of the book hits so close to home that I just started crying as the book played. Be encouraged to not give up on the dreams that God places in your heart. He knows what he is doing now, and he knew what he was doing when he called you. Push away everything, and I mean everything that hinders the race. I think the book did a great job at pointing out areas that I did not know were hindering. I enjoyed how Pastor Brian interwove transparency in the book, and some things that I can relate to in my life. I think this book is very good for those just starting out in their faith, but also for those of us that have been around a while longer. His approach is gentle and not harsh in challenging growth. I may even read this one again and take notes this time.

What does Brian Houston bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think being so closely tied to HillSong and relating how some of the songs came about and sharing how his personal life also had hills and valleys along the way made this book really rich.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This definitely was one of those I can't put this one down type of books.

Any additional comments?

I look forward to hearing more of Brian's teachings, and grabbing a pencil and paper this time and taking notes. That is what I would recommend; if you are going to listen to this book, have a pencil and paper nearby.

Beautiful, Bold, & God Honoring

I did not want to stop listening to this one. The movie also was great. Prayer powerfully invites God on scene.
