Oh how Melissa Foster can deliver a steamy, angsty, emotionally charged, se*y story of a biker who falls HARD and fast for the woman who crashes into his life without warning! That is exactly what you get when you read the newest Dark Knights at Bayside, Talk Wicked to Me by Melissa Foster. Baxter “Baz” Wicked the elusively sexy veterinarian projects his tough exterior to help protect his family, friends, members of his community, and especially the newest member he can’t seem to get out of his head. Like all the other Wicked Men of Baz’s family (blood or not), he has one of the biggest hearts that falls hard and fast for Emerson Lockhart and her son, Brennan. As with most Melissa Foster Dark Knights books you will find that one or both main characters has an emotionally charged back story that leaves you in tears both sad and happy tears. As the author has you in tears for what her characters go through she will NOT leave you or her characters emotionally hurt, she will put everyone back together while rivers of happy tears flow. Emerson Lockhart finds herself starting over in Bayside to provide a quieter lifestyle for her soon to arrive bundle of joy. Emerson has every reason to be wary of both Baz and his entire family’s new friendships. As always Melissa Foster leaves me feeling like I’ve just gotten off a roller coaster because my emotions flowed the entire spectrum, from sad to YEAH! I absolutely love the Dark Knights because they are so family oriented and promote that family is not always blood related. The Wickeds are such a great family I wish they were real and that I could hang out with them all.
Now, let’s talk about the absolute best narrators. Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow bring Emerson Lockhart and Baz Wicked to life in your ears. Man-oh-Man are these two AMAZING!! Aiden Snow has the perfectly deep sexy voice to bring this big biker vet to life. Savannah Peachwood is just as amazing as her partner with a great, easy to listen to voice.
Lots of tropes can be found in Talk Wicked to me: pregnant heroine, single-parent, small-town romance, found family, biker family, close proximity, protective hero, he falls first, strangers to lovers, slow burn, chance meeting, golden-retriever hero, romance with animals. If you enjoy any of these tropes I promise you will not be disappointed in the newest Melissa Foster Dark Knights at Bayside Book 6 - Talk Wicked to Me!

Ax & Adley so very delicious!

I absolutely loved Adley and Ax’s story in Brutal Bargain by Laurelin Paige. Adley is in need of a husband and Ax is not letting anyone take that role except for him. I truly enjoyed watching Adley and Ax evolve/grow into two people who are perfect for each other. Grandpa Irving plays a direct, funny, and matchmaker hand in Ax and Adley admitting they’re perfect for each other in their own “brutal” way. I most especially loved the times when both Ax and Adley allowed themselves to be vulnerable with each other to begin understanding each other so much more. I was surprised by so many funny, witty, and sweet moments throughout Brutal Bargain by Laurelin Paige. One of my most favorite moments is when Ax stands up and chooses his wife over his best friend. Also, I love all the nicknames that Ax develops for Adley, they are cute and adorable. I can truly say that by the end, which is soo good by BTW, I was so in love with Ax. In true fashion of an alphahole, Ax had changed so much he just made my heart so squishy with love for him. Rose Diorio and Ryan West bring Adley and Ax to life in your ears. They do a great job delivering all the feels to listeners. I really like that Brutal Bargain is told in duet narration. Laurelin Paige writes some of the very best alphaholes and Ax Morgan has earned his way to the top of my list tying with another alphahole (D.K.). If you like billionaires, close proximity, enemies-to-lovers, alphas, alphahole, and my wife genres then I think you’ll like Brutal Bargain whether you read or listen to Ax and Adley’s story.

I thoroughly enjoyed Layla Hagen’s newest Whitley Brother finding his HEA! Loving the CEO is a friends-to-lovers romance set in Boston. These two college best-friends finally start seeing each other as a possible forever love. Watching Tory and Leo recognize, accept, and then finally act upon their feelings is like riding a roller coaster with lots of highs and lows until you get to the finish. I love large family sagas where everyone gets along, helps each other through the tough times and is one of my favorite types of romance. The Whitley family embodies everything I just described and so much more. When these men fall to their knees for the woman of their dreams they fall HARD!! I truly enjoy reading a Layla Hagen romance story because the characters are well developed and the is just a great weekend/beach read. The audiobook is narrated by Connor Crais and Erin Mallon. I’ve listened to Erin Mallon for several years now and thoroughly enjoy her performances. Her voice is smooth and easy on the ears. Connor Crais is fairly new to me. I’ve enjoyed listening to his performances and he has become one of my favorite male narrators. His voice is very easy on the ears, YUM!

Swoony and delicious!!

Enticing Her Love by Melissa Foster has ALL the feels. You will find witty banter filled with lots of s*xual tension. These two have danced around their feelings ever since they met at work(Discovery Hour TV show) and learned that Flynn is Sutton’s boss. Enticing Her Love is definitely a boss/employee romance along with close proximity, office and secret romance tropes. As always Melissa Foster creates characters that are robust in depth and deep down you will find a heart of gold for all characters. Since Sutton is a Steele from Silver Island there are LOTS of pranks going down in this story. I promise you will need some tissues for both deep emotional stories and very funny antics (aka a prank) by the Steele family. Whether you are a seasoned Melissa Foster reader or this is your first novel Enticing Her Love is written as a stand-alone in the Love in Bloom Family series. Savannah Peachwood and Jacob Morgan bring Sutton and Flynn to life in your ears. Not alone do you hear the passion, emotion, and ALL the feelings of this story but their talented voices bring all your feelings full circle. I truly enjoyed listening to Savannah and Jacob because they don’t “just” read the words, they bring the words to life with their voice acting skills. Listening to audiobooks is a great way to make a work commute or road trip go by so much faster. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and listening to Enticing Her Love by Melissa Foster and I think you will too!

Westley & Josie....delicious!

Lauren Blakely's newest Hockey Romance, The Boyfriend Goal is sooo good, I loved it!! Wesley and Josie are fun with s*xy and steamy banter. Wesley is such a dirty talker and a member of the Sea Dogs Hockey team. I think Wesley ranks in Lauren's top 3 of dirtiest talkers. Josie moves to town for a temporary job with the intention of completing a "List" of things to do from her Aunt Greita. Through a string of events Josie needs a place to stay and her brother (member of Sea Dogs) being the helpful brother that he is found a teammate to help Josie out. Here is where the good stuff begins between Josie and Wesley. The Boyfriend Goal has ALL the feels. Will Wesley and Josie find the balance they both want and/or need between both of their work and personal lives? I love Lauren's writing style, always have, because her characters are so real, lovable, a bit stubborn at times, and just downright fun! Lauren is so very talented when it comes to writing steamy between-the-sheets scenes and wow does she bring the steam in The Boyfriend Goal! Erin Mallon and Connor Crais bring Josie and Wesley to life in your ears. Both narrators are so talented when portraying characters they bring all the feels especially those between-the-sheets scenes, 5 jalapenos steamy.

He falls first, hard and fast!

Julian LeBlanc is the newest LeBlanc brother to fall to his knees for the woman he loves. Julian is definitely “The Charmer” in Layla Hagen’s newest LeBlanc Brother story. Unknowingly Julian breaks a long standing contract between Books and Beads (Georgie’s store) and LeBlanc Conglomerates, both grandmother’s made a contract with Georie’s grandmother. Boy, does Georgie ever let him have it one night. She is so fun and confident when not around her ex. Let’s just say Julian is blown away by her confidence to confront him and cannot get Georgie out of his mind. Basically he fell first! Some of the tropes you will find in The Charmer are fake-relationship, bossy billionaire, close proximity, enemies-to-lovers, and steamy scenes. Steamy scenes are right, Julian and Georgie do get quite steamy together. I loved The Charmer. The characters are fun, witty, chemistry is through the roof, steamy scenes are quite hot too, and the setting is fabulous, New Orleans during carnival season(Mardi Gras). Now, let’s talk about the fabulous narrators that bring Georgie and Julian to your ears. Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder do a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. For me, Jason Clarke is one of my top 3 most favorite male narrators. His voice is smooth, rich, vibrant, and oh se*y to listen to. He is excellent at a variety of male voices while at the same time just as talented as a female and young child voice. Emma Wilder is excellent at a variety of voices as well. Her range of voices makes listening to the story easy and enjoyable. Looking for a fun read with lots of witty banter throughout and an alpha hero who falls first? Then you will totally enjoy The Charmer by Layla Hagen!!

Chloe and Jason so good together!

Adriana Locke’s The Arrangement (Brewer Family Series, Book 2) is narrated by Amy McFadden(Chloe) and Sebastian York(Jason). These two do a great job in bringing Chloe and Jason to life. Amy McFadden does a great job with Chloe’s character. This is the first time I’ve listened to this narrator. Look forward to listening to her again in the future. Sebastian York is one of my all-time favorite male narrators. His voice is so smooth, rich, and down-right s*xy. I enjoyed the writing style of this author. Her characters are real and believable. Between-the-sheets scenes are well written as well and a bit spicy. Recommend it!

Forever love found after heartbreak.

The Wicked Aftermath by Melissa Foster has the biggest range of emotions I have ever experienced in a romance book. Tank and Leah’s story absolutely touched my soul. Both Leah and Tank have experienced the absolute worst of emotional and quite frankly, life altering events. I was absolutely gutted by these events and then watched how the author put Tank and Leah back together along with myself as well. The entire cast of The Wicked Aftermath were so well developed and heartfelt, they are amazing. Leah’s two little girls absolutely stole Tank’s heart and mine too! The emotion and passion just flew off the pages with this story. Melissa Foster is a master at emotional, funny, sexy, and quite steamy stories. Her characters are smart, funny, handsome, beautiful (inside and out), and very sexy. Melissa’s heroes are sexy, handsome alpha’s with the masterful ability to talk dirty in the most sexy way. Now, let’s talk audiobook!! I recently purchased the newly re-narrated version of The Wicked Aftermath by Aiden Snow and Jennifer Mack. I couldn’t buy this new version fast enough because Aiden Snow is one of my absolute favorite male narrators. Aiden is so perfect for the part of Tank Wicked. His voice is deep, s*xy, and will raise the hairs on the back of your neck when talking dirty into your ear. Mmmm…..scrumptious!! Jennifer Mack brings Leah to life so perfectly. Like I said earlier the emotion and passion just flew off the pages now, imagine Aiden Snow and Jennifer Mack brings all that emotion and passion to life in your ears! They are so perfect for Tank and Leah. Completely recommend The Wicked Aftermath by Melissa Foster. *****

Maddox and Cami HEA!

Taming The CEO by Layla Hagen is another excellent read! Cami and Maddox are so fun. Maddox and his half-brother Gabe, are planning to work together. The property they need in addition to what they have already purchased belongs to Cami and her dad who own an adventure park next door. For personal reasons Cami is not interested and is completely turned off once she meets Maddox. Maddox can’t figure out how and why he turned Cami off to his charms. I have not read a book by Layla Hagen that I have not liked. Her characters are fun, smart, determined, and always support each other. The Whitley family is quite large with 8 siblings and one matchmaking grandma. Jeannie Whitley is sneaky but not too sneaky her grandsons have caught on to her ways. Now, let’s talk about the audiobook narrated by Aiden Snow and Maxine Mitchell. Aiden is an absolutely fantastic narrator as Maddox Whitley and Maxine Mitchell does a great job as Cami. Aiden’s voice is so smooth, deep, passionate, emotional, rugged, and s*xy! Maxine Mitchell’s voice is enticing, passionate, and emotional. Taming the CEO is a great weekend or beach read or listen. Love large family sagas with medling siblings and a matchmaking granny? Then you will enjoy the newest Whitley Brothers story, Taming the CEO by Layla Hagen!!

Jace and Dixie emotional and spicy!

I finally was able to read & listen to Melissa Foster’s Taming My Whiskey. Dixie finally gets her HEA!! Does she ever choose the right man for the job of “taming” his whiskey, Jace Stone! If you like smart, sassy, beautiful(inside and out), strong willed heroines, and heroes that are over the top s*xy, handsome, and oh-so alpha then you will definitely love Dixie and Jace’s journey to forever love. Almost forget, there are plenty of handsome and family-loving bikers with hearts-of-gold in this story as well. As usual Melissa Foster writes a very beautiful love story with lots of passion, angst, emotion, and super loyal characters in her stories. Both Dixie and Jace fall hard but fight their feelings for so long, even before they finally admit those feelings to themselves. Will they finally give in to their feelings to have the love they both want so badly? Now, let's talk about one of the s*xiest voices on the planet! That’s right, Aiden Snow! He is perfect as the voice of any of Melissa Foster's heroes! Wow, his voice is just so smooth, deep, and can bring so much richness, emotion, passion, angst to his characters. One of my most favorite male narrators. Devra Woodward brings Dixie to life in your eyes. She brings passion, emotion, and her voice is smooth and beautiful. I’m certain I’ve listened to her before but did not know her by name. Devra does a fabulous job as Dixie Whiskey. Whether you listen to the audio or read the book I am confident you enjoy Taming My Whiskey by Melissa Foster.
