Such a fantastic and well written story! I am SO impressed by this book. Fantastic character growth and a really great pace.
Not your typical frienamies book. Every character had depth and expressed themselves genuinely.
I so enjoyed this book, I got 4 more from this author!

Guy is amazed that women eat?

So I tried. But every time the main character eats, the guy fixates on the fact that 'omg this woman - she likes food - how unheard of!' ....and I simply cannot get over it.
It is the catalys for every kiss/sexual encounter they have for the first half of the book.

Her writing is mostly hit with me. Always interesting worlds and creative characters.
Strong female lead and a good job of making sure everyone has believable flaws. Excellent growth and a good job at pacing to keep interest.
Glad to see the author branching out of YA a bit.
A fun and worth while read. Looking forward to the next book.

The narration is horrid. She reads EVERYTHING like a news report. Cannot believe she got paid for this. The narrator and the book deserve each other. Both the male and female leads leave everything to be desired.

I love the way this author writes. One of the best, most well rounded romance novels I've read. I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed the entire book.
Great narrator as well - Italian accent was well done.

Pretty good, healthy BDSM relationship

The best thing about this book is the attention given to cultivation a truly healthy and supportive relationship. The story is nothing mind blowing, but it's enjoyable and well written. I will probably continue the series.

I really wanted to like this book

The main character just never made up her mind! Everyone loves a good love triangle...but this was mind-numbing in the extreme when she just wouldn't commit to an choice for more than a chapter at a time.
I spent more time being angry with her than I did enjoying the book. The sex scenes are very good and the plot builds tencion very well. The narrator also does a good job.
I don't know that I would necessarily recommend this book/series to anyone, but I would be happy to discuss it with someone who had.

This was a struggle from the very start

I finished, only so that I could say that it was bad from start to finish.
If not describe the plot, it seems fine. Nothing out of the ordinary and a good length book.
That is where the list of positives end.
The main character is a bore and has no character growth to speak of for 90% of the book. She goes from suicidal to high as a kite with no reference to being depressed.
The progression of her story isn't plausible and it's not compelling.
(spoiler,...............she tells a guy she loves him and then sleeps with his enemy.... because THAT is what people who are in love do?!?!)
The narration is no help. Poor choice.

A garbage version of Romeo and Juliet

What did I just read? Was there an editor that actually got paid for this?
There were so many wrong things in this book, but the biggest crime is that not a single character was believable. Everyone was SO one dimensionally challenged and the transitions were basically non-existent.
Wasn't expecting it to be a good book and was still disappointed.
The naration was fine.

Worst narrator ever.

This was truly awful. I usually cut them a lot of slack, but this guy was so, so bad. I messed with the speed to try and make it bearable, but nothing worked.
I listened to about 1/3 of the book before it became too much. The story was nothing special either...but not necessarily bad.
