Historia
The number one thing men secretly desire of women, yet typically won’t admit it. Are you the one who likes to be in control, especially when it comes to making decisions for you and your partner? Because women are quickly becoming more and more aware of the influence they can have on the world and thus breaking out of their shells, female led relationships are becoming increasingly popular in today’s modern times, and for a good reason.

Historia
Without John C. Houbolt, a mid-level engineer at NASA, Apollo 11 would never have made it to the moon. Top NASA engineers on the project, including Werner Von Braun, strongly advocated for a single, huge spacecraft to travel to the moon, land, and return to Earth. It's the scenario used in 1950s cartoons and horror movies about traveling to outer space. Houbolt had another idea: Lunar Orbit Rendezvous. LOR would link two spacecraft in orbit while the crafts were travelling at 3,600 miles an hour around the moon. His plan was ridiculed and considered unthinkable.

What if?
Revisado: 07-19-19
This book left me with the lingering question, what if NASA had went with the EOR (Earth orbit rendezvous) model? Where would the space program be today? I believe the EOR would have done for Earth orbit, what the Interstate highway system did for commerce though out the continental United States. Earth orbit would be a thriving zone of inovation and R & D. We would already have bases on the Moon and Mars, and man would be well into the exploration of the rest of our Galaxy and beyond.

Historia
The Middle East is a critically important area of our world. And, with its current prominence in international affairs, media images of the Middle East reach us on a daily basis. Much media coverage, however, is incomplete at best, failing to take account of either the complexities or the historical background of this pivotal region. For most of us, the real story of the Middle East remains untold. What made this crucial geopolitical area what it is today?

At first I thought the narrator had to be financed by some Arab Prince. Westerner Civilization seem to lack in most areas when compared to Muslims. But when the narrator revealed that one of the most favorite books and movies of his childhood was Lawrence of Arabia I had a better feel for where he was coming.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.
