Kept me on my toes. Kept me hooked from start to finish. But it is also cruel and ptsd triggering at times. I did enjoy it though I do hope that the heroine gets to be a bad ass in the next!

Slow start strong finish

In the beginning I was bored and irritated at the heroine. But her character just kept growing.
The book ended as one of my top 5 favorites!!
I really enjoyed all the plot twists.
Thank you for this book Sarah J. Maas, this was truly a jewel.
