The story had a good mix of humor and adventure. Loved the mix of Irish mythology meets D&D. Enjoyed the characters. Looking forward to see how they grow in coming stories. Reader did an excellent job distinguishing characters and a nice job switching back and forth with the Irish lilt. Would somebody from Ireland say it’s a perfect accent? No idea. But it did lend to separating the characters nicely. Already bought the next in series.

The story kept my attention. I guessed some things but a lot of twists and turns kept me intrigued. A bit slow getting started but still kept my attention. I liked the reader. He kept an edge that I thought for the lead character. That edge of am I crazy or not.

Interesting and well thought out plot. The descriptions of the monsters were well done. The number of characters to keep track of was a little bit of a struggle sometimes. I believe I would have preferred reading the book rather than listening to it. The narrator’s performance was good.
