Reflecting on this information "in print" after hearing so much on cable news, it's stunning to hear it now in such detail - it is beyond amazing that this country is functioning at all. I can't help but feel that many people working there haven't had to strength to leave and talk, but instead have kept quiet and still continue to do so. I very much respect Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig's reporting, but I wish it was one or both of them narrating the book. I'm sorry to say Ms. Huber's voice is just not doing it for me in general, but when she "acts" the tone of the various players I want to stop listening; If it wasn't for me wanting to keep learning all the gory details I would not finish listening to this book.

The title is misleading. Although there are some great talents/voices here, I didn't expect a "performance". And all the music has to go.

There are not enough words to describe how I feel about this book and I mean that in the best way possible. It turned out to be so much more than I expected. So if anyone doesn't want to read it because of their own political bent and/or they're tired of hearing it all in the media - they should get over it. It is way, way more. It should be required reading in high school and/or college for various course studies. I am purchasing a hard cover to have forever, as an easy reference and keepsake, and to share with those close to me because I feel there are many valuable lessons to be learned and used in anyone's life; this is not just about politics and Trump. As a new user of audiobooks, and someone who has fought the concept for a long time - I've become a convert, mostly because I love listening when it's the author/narrator. Hearing that person's voice telling the story turns reading into a whole new dimension, and arouses emotions I know I wouldn't have felt if I was reading a paper book. I cannot remember feeling this strongly about something I've read in many years.
