Historia
After years of hard work, Tyler built his IT Security company into a massive success. He trusted his people and now it was time to enjoy the fruits of that labor. Everything was perfect until an unexpected discovery. Should they go through the Maya portal? Adriana's small diving instruction shop is popular enough with the tourists for her to scrape out a living, but it's not the life she expected. When she got the call, it seemed impossible. Wasn't Xibalbá a myth? In a fantastic world of danger and possibility, two people want to discover the truth, but for entirely different reasons.

This book was surprisingly good and kept my interest way better than some of his other books. Would recommend. Not hard science fiction.

Historia
The invaders came in 2050...they did not kill anyone outright. They said they came on behalf of the intelligent species of Earth - dolphins and whales. The invaders quietly destroyed every evidence of technology, then peacefully departed, leaving behind plowed ground and sprouting seeds. In the next two years, 10 billion humans starved to death.

Weird sex
Revisado: 12-22-24
I know most of the writers were ahead of their times and tried to be forward thinking about society and what the future may hold. That being said this author has a plethora of ideas and situations about sex that are completely unrelated to the story most times and it feels like he has to force them in. I love his stories but not a fan of the sex dropped in at almost every turn.

Historia
If the broken neon signs, shuttered storefronts, and sub-standard housing didn’t tip you off, you’ve just wandered into the city of “Undisclosed”. You don’t want to be caught dead here, because odds are you just might find yourself rising from the grave. That hasn’t stopped tourists from visiting to check out the unusual phenomena that hangs around our town like radioactive fallout. Interdimensional parasites feeding on human hosts, paranormal cults worshipping demonic entities, vengeful teenage sorcerers, we’ve got it all.

When a signal offering assistance reaches Earth from an alien entity calling itself the Foundry, humanity plans a mission to the stars for first contact. In the midst of this, Milo Hughes is just another five-year-old boy who wishes nothing more than to doodle with crayons and dig in the dirt, while his parents secretly plot to join the mission—whether they were invited or not.

MC moron
Revisado: 01-16-24
Main character experiences years of what to do/not do, then first choice he makes is to throw that away. Second decision is to not pay attention to his new choice, then proceed to mope about it. Extremely unlikely and annoying. I’m guessing this will not be an issue in the next book.?… This book could have been great with only a few changes.

It’s better than it seems at first.
Revisado: 09-30-23
Overall definitely worth the listen, keep going at the parts that start sounding offbeat because it does develop. Run at .85 speed
Pros: excellent story approach and very original.
Self read by author is better than expected.
Cons: it feels like there are many things a good editor could make less, “clunky?”
With an experienced narrator I feel like it would make this book much easier to listen to.
To the author, get a better editor and a good reader. I had to run at 0.85 speed so it did not sound like a speed reader.
