Amazing, but sad too!
Revisado: 06-17-23
The Scanguards Vampires series has everything you could want in a paranormal romance novel. It has hot vampires, sassy women, witches, hybrids, true love, danger, intrigue, and a few unexpected thrills. I loved this series and hope you do too.
Skip forward 19 years, add an ex-con and you get one cool story.
When Luther was first introduced, he quickly became a character that I despised. Which, of course, means the author did an amazing job writing the story. However, fastforward 19 years and change his circumstances and, somehow, the author has taken that same character and change into a character that I could learn to love. After reading Katie and Luther's story, I understand why Luther lost his mind. Though, I still don't agree with or condone those actions, they are a bit more understandable... a tiny bit. He was a heartbroken man who had lost everything and wanted someone else to feel the pain he was suffering through. Katie is also a character that has experienced some sad and tramatizing events. She's been kidnapped twice in her life... possibly three times... and she still manages to smile. Though, some of those smiles are the result of years of acting experience. The tow of them together find solace within the others arms and they each deserve to find some kind of HEA. I really enjoyed my time with the Scanguards family and look forward to many more hours with them. Next up is Blake.

Phenomenal, but really emotional!
Revisado: 06-04-23
I've finally managed to finish this book. One more BDB book down and only... 17 to go (for now at least). This book was so emotional. There were a few questions left unanswered which,, hopefully, the author will address in the next book.
For examples, will V follow through on the action that he said he was contemplating. If so, he will loose so much of my respect. He's been one of my favorite since the beginning but, if he does what he was thinking about, I will instantly not like him any more. I have very strong feeling against what he's considering.
Not all of the brothers made appearances in this books, and some that did weren't very big. Mostly, this book is about the Blay-Qhuinn-Layla-Xcor situation. I can understand why Qhuinn reacted the way that he did to Layla's secret, but I also think he took it too far. Yes, Layla was wrong for putting his little ones into possible danger. However, he didn't need to fly off the handle... wait, let's change that to, jump off the highest cliff of insanity, and start shooting up the place. I mean, just the idea of some of the possible consequences of his actions causes a shiver to race down my spine. I did like the gesture he made to Blay. I think some kind of shared rights would be amazing.
I am happy that Layla finally has someone to focus on other than Qhuinn, and She makes the perfect counterbalance to Xcor, but it's still a hard pill to swallow. First, Layla has never been at the top of my favorite characters list, and Xcor definitely sat at the top of my $hitlist for a good long while. HHowever, they both found ways to redeem themselves towards the end.
The revelation about Xcor bloodline was so mind blowing. I did not see that coming. I knew he was the son of a brother, but didn't put any of the truth together before it was revealed.
I hope now that Tohr has come to terms with the news he received that he will find some modicum of peace. I know that this won't erase his heartache over Wellsey and his young, but it might help him move a few more steps forward.
The other main character in this book was Trez. As some of you know he found and lost his love all in a short time. Now, we meet Therese, who has thrown both IAm and Trez for a rollercoaster ride. I can't wait to see how that all works out.
All-in-all, this book came with all the feels and then some. Your go up and down just before it throws you for a loopdiloop. There was just so much jam packed into this book. I mean, all of the BDB books are, but this one showed new sides to some of the older characters that were just stunning, not always in a good way.
Hopefully it won't take so long for me to get through the next book, but I'm going for it either way. Well done to the author!
As always the narrator, Jim Frangione, also did a phenomenal job with his performance of this book.

One of my favorites!!!
Revisado: 05-09-23
Another amazing story from Jennifer Ashley. The Unbound Shifters series is definitely one of my favorite and White Tiger is an amazing addition to the series. Kendrick is such a great character. He has had a hard life full of traumas and still he keeps it together for his shifters. HE's there to comfort, protect and reassure them as much as he can. He gives more of himself to everyone than he takes for himself. He keeps everyone at a distance even while being surrounded by them. Addison is the perfect woman for him because she has a way of nurturing that touches not only him but his sons as well. She is willing to through herself in front of danger to protect them no matter what kind of danger it is she faces. These two truly touched me and I can't wait to read the next book.
Plus, I loved Tiger's surprise at the end. Xander and Olaf together are heartwarming as well.

Fantastic story about what started it all.

This is a great story. I’ve loved Darius since the beginning, even if he was such a small part he was still incredibly integral to the story as a whole. Without none of the BDB books would have been possible because Beth wouldn’t be here. I loved reading about him and I can’t wait to read more from the BDB world.
This book is best read after The Savior.

Historia
Wolf Shifter Mason McNaughton is tired of the crazy feral living in his house, endangering him, his brothers, and his sweet auntie Cora. Ferals are Shifters who've reverted to the wild stage, forgetting all about the joys of pizza and satellite TV. Not to mention, Mason is sick of waking up to the feral's rampages in the bedroom next to his. The feral has been given sanctuary, so Mason can't throw him out - the only thing to do is to find a way to cure him. The problem is, Shifter healers - elusive, Goddess-touched Shifters who have the healing gift - are few and far between.

Revisado: 04-24-23
I love this story. It's maybe one of my favorites from the Shifters because of the additional magical elements added this time. The characters are a amazing as always. Jasmine in an interesting character with extraordinary talents and a huge heart. Mason appears to be a typical male shifter at first but, after you peel away a few layers, you realize he doesn't quite possess as much bravado as he wants you to think he does.
I love this series. I've read every book up till now and can't wait for more. Another 5* job from Jennifer Ashley. Now I'm off to read White Tiger. I can't wait to read Kendrick's story.

When Broderick is captured, mistaken for a Guardian, it's Joanne who figures out that hackers are after the Guardian Network, the database that holds the deep secrets of shifters past and present. Thought un-hackable, the network is now in danger of being invaded, and already a Guardian has died. Strangely, Broderick now holds the key to stopping the hackers, and Joanne, with her coding skills, is the only one who can help him.

Wow. What a phenomenal story. Broderick has been one of my favorites since the beginning. Well, maybe not since the beginning but, definitely for a while now. I really enjoyed reading about him and Joanne. I loved to see how their relationship progressed and developed throughout the series. I must say it took him long enough to do the deed, so to speak. Also, the adventure of this story was unlike the other. I can't wait for the next book. Thanks to the author for another Awesome story.

I love the entire 'Shifters Unbound' series but, at this point, I can't decide any more which is my favorite story. They are all so amazing and Lion Eyes is no different. I loved reading about Bree, with her strength, and Seamus, with his broodiness. I love that there is a new kind of shifter in town and that another bond has been made. I can't wait for more from these amazing and unique shifters. Well done to the author. I'm off to read Broderick's story, Bad Wolf, now.

Another great story starring the Atlan Warlords and their feisty mates. Though, this one was a bit different from the previous two because The story continued for another 2 hours after the two main characters mated. It was interesting to see how they interacted after the mating, and it was interesting to meet some new characters, at least new to me, and to see how Quinn interacted with the different species. I enjoyed the story a lot. Well done to the author!
The narrators also did a phenomenal job performing their parts. The added new life and another level of excitment, passion to the story. Well done to them as well.
I'm looking forward to reading/listening to more.

Be the latest bachelor beast on an Earth reality television show to find his perfect mate or face certain death in an Atlan prison. Braun’s not sure which is worse...until a female enters his hotel suite with towels and cleaning supplies. She isn’t part of the television show. She isn’t available. She isn’t interested in mating with an alien. She isn’t his. Try telling that to his beast, because one look at the maid and Braun knows he will do anything...anything, to claim her.

This was a really good story. I enjoyed that the two main characters seem to get more time together, even if it only seemed that way, than the first book's couple. The author did another great job with this story. The ending scene/epilogue was one of my favorite from the book.
The narrators also did a really good job adding an extra level of excitment to the story. The female narrator's voice actually reminded of the person who played the Disney princess Tiana from the Princess and the frog. I liked her accent. The male narrator also did a great job performing his parts.
Well done to both the author and narrators.
