What would happen if millions of people around the world suddenly disappeared one day? In this fascinating apocalyptic thriller, best-selling Christian inspirational authors LaHaye and Jenkins pool their considerable talents to answer that question. Narrator Richard Ferrone's unusually deep and hypnotic voice will keep you right in the middle of this not-unimaginable end of the world nightmare.

Excellent performance of a stunning work!
Revisado: 08-07-23
I’ve heard of this series since childhood and have finally indulged. It’s no wonder it’s a best seller! I never wanted to press pause, I was positively engrossed, my compliments to the authors! Left Behind was excellently written, entirely believable. I would recommend this book to anyone! The story unfolds so brilliantly it is positively captivating, I would even call it a thriller. The performance is everything I could have ever wanted. I have enjoyed listening to well over a hundred books on audible so far and this was perhaps the very best performance yet. The only thing at this moment that could get higher compliments than this future-fiction itself is the picture perfect narration. I would be tempted to listen to works of any genre if I saw it was performed by this narrator.
A great story can stand on its own even with mediocre performance but this story with this remarkable narration takes the cake for me.
It was a privilege to listen and I am ready to dive into the next book in the series immediately!

Great story
Revisado: 05-25-22
I so enjoyed this listen. A great blend of tension, mystery, woven stories and close matters of the heart. Despite the mature and sometimes intense subject matter, it was relatively clean for a suspense/romance sort of story which I really appreciate. It’s a great read

Historia
As a bright season brings a fresh start to Willow Ridge, Annie Mae Knepp feels she can never make peace with the past. Her disgraced ex-bishop father is furious she has taken her five siblings to live with her. She's never been truly at home in her faith...or in believing in herself. And Annie Mae fears no man will want to take on the responsibilities she's gladly shouldered. True, her quiet neighbor, Adam Wagler, has been steadfast and unshakeable in helping her through her trials, but he surely couldn't think of someone so lost as more than a friend.

Wonderful
Revisado: 10-18-21
This whole series so far has been just charming! The marvelously performed, the storyline has plenty of intrigue without wandering from the wholesome, romantic storyline I hoped for. This particular book is darling and would even make a great standalone read with the way the author seamlessly brings the reader to date along the way. This feel-good Amish romance is well worth the read!

A Pleasant listen
Revisado: 10-15-21
This book has a pleasant, albeit slow, storyline that is well performed. My young children were able to enjoy it and I was glad for the wholesome, simple story to accompany us while driving and doing chores. The characters are endearing and the charming outcome is quite sweet.

Stunning
Revisado: 01-19-21
What a review of the culture and theology behind this community’s response to tragedy. Their response to life.
A kindly academic approach to exploring a rather tender and religious subject matter. Beautifully presented

A MUST read for mothers
Revisado: 12-18-20
I felt like this was written just for me.
I listened in broken bits while housecleaning, folding small clothes, in late hours after everyone was asleep, and at least once during the boys’ nap time while speedily knitting Christmas gifts.
I breathed it in while walking in out and every bit has given new life to the long hours of motherhood for me. I wish I could shout the lessons brought forward from rooftops, admonishing every other Christian mother to breathe, be still, and know.
The most worthwhile book for my stage of life as a young mother I have read yet. Thank you, God, for inspiring this book
