i enjoyed this sweet story. Ethan & Hannah were high school sweethearts and friends. they broke up when they were young and it broke Hannah's young heart. she calls him out of the blue looking for a sweater she left at his house and through a series of phone calls they get to know each other again. sweet and heartfelt feelings are exchanged. love and humor shared by both.

such a good story-on more than one level!

as a widow I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this book. so many similar emotions and occurances to my own life; it was at once, hard, challenging but encouraging as well. i'm glad I stayed with it. characters were likeable, made me laugh and tear up....been there, done that! I would recommend this story. sweet and encouraging.

i bought this book almost a year ago and it worked its way farther back into my library. i was going through what I had and realized I'd not listened to it yet and so I began it. It was nothing as I had expected it to be! i loved it! there is nothing I like more about a book than not knowing what will happen! this kept me guessing the whole way through! thank you! so touching and I so enjoyed it all so so much! sweet and showed real love and growth between Anders and Letty! the ONLY reason I got this was because I heard a talented actor is going to play Aiden, Lina's love interest. if this is what women deal with today-sad, just really SAD. NOPE. My REAL LIFE love story better than THIS. Disapointed. will not waste time on tv production. maybe this is why it changed hands after it was filmed. a waste of a talented actor's work, sadly.

And my grumpy, divorced, humorless boss isn't exactly giving me "ready to be a stepdad" vibes.

just loved this story and these main characters so very much! so very sweet and full of romantic vibes. the ending especially laugh out loud funny and enjoyable! Lived his close familial relationships with his brothers and his other family relationships! so fun hearing about white water rafting and hiking. so fun! thanks to the narrators and the author! thanks to you all for a wonderful story and narration! its been a few years but reminded me of some of the aspects of my & my darling's love story....50 years ago. thank you all !
