This is a great book with a wonderful story. It felt real and you can tell that the author really knows the ins and outs of NASA (he’s an astronaut so of course) but he weaves the fictional characters in with the real people wonderfully. Excellent read.

What did you love best about Catching Fire?
I love how it's focus is the war and the greater overarching themes and NOT the teen love drama. This book was great. It's nice to see the heroine helping but not taking over. It's more realistic than thinking Katniss could take out an entire regime alone.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Clash of Kings to be better than the print version?
I don't know
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked many of the characters. And it feels good to really dislike some of them too. They are very believable and satisfying.
What about Roy Dotrice’s performance did you like?
Excellent voice. I did like his rhythm and his slight differences when switching characters.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I wanted to but it's too long. I found myself sitting on my car in the driveway not wanting to get out!!!
Any additional comments?
This was a great book. I liked all the detail into the world. Very Tolkienesque. Not quite as masterful but still good and I'll likely listen again.
