It started off well but quickly went downhill. Kind of dull and boring. It’s like the author used a formula to write this. I’ll be returning this book.

This is so bad. I missed the middle of the book and have no desire to go back and listen to it. This one is going back.

I didn't find this book funny or interesting. It was original. I usually love this author but not this book. I couldn't finish it. I'll be returning it.

This book is horrendous. The characters do not communicate and it's rather boring because the whole book is spent in their heads. Ava Erickson was good as always. For the first time ever, I found Jeremy York boring. He actually put me to sleep. I don't blame him for this. He can only work with what he's been given.

I have loved all of her books. I'm not sure I will listen to another one. The narrator was changed and killed it. I made myself power through this hoping it would get better. It doesn't. Too much sex. Not enough story. It really was boring. I'm sending it back. Won't listen to another one unless the narrator is changed back.

I wanted to like this book. It has a good start but around the middle of the book it takes a turn. I'm not sure why so many others like it. I fell asleep twice listening to it. There are other much better MMA books out. Skip this one or buy it on sale.

The first half of this book is boring. I kept listening because I had spent a credit and wanted to see if it got better. It does for awhile and then it tanks again. It had a few hot scenes but not many. The author also tried to write songs. I love rock star stories but can not stand it when the author writes really bad songs and the narrator sings. Its always painful! Backlash is told from so many points of view it is hard to follow at times. It also contains several M/M scenes, one M/M/F and a couple M/F. The narrator is what kind of saves this book. He was easy to listen to. If you have gotten through everything on your wish list AND it is on sale I would give it a try. Don't spend a credit on it.

I have come to expect a lot from Jay Crownover's books. She is creative and fun to read. I have everything she has put out and I have loved them all. Until now. I never found Avett to be likable. Charged did not change that. She is a spineless wonder. I had high hopes for this book based on a passage in the last book. Sadly, this is the worst book of Ms. Crownover's I have listened to.

Monica Palms narration is painful to listen to. I had to turn this book off so many times because of it. The male narrators are good.

l would read this one instead of listening to it. It might be enjoyable that way. If you don't have time for that then I would skip Charged. Hopefully the next one will be better.

The Beneath series is my favorite of 2015. I love that we see each couple from past books but that it's only in passing. Meghan March does such a good job developing the characters and then letting them grow. These are adult relationships. The couples get together early, grow and face the problems together. Such a welcome change for the genre. Start with book one!

Wonderful book! I lost sleep with it and then didn't listen to another book for a week. This love story will suck you in and keep you until the last sentence. I can't wait for the next in the series! Side note-Justine O. Keef + rockstar romance = excellence!
