This memoir lays bare Byrne’s integral involvement in the “Russian Collusion Delusion” and the Clinton Investigation, exposing them as deceptive maneuvers orchestrated on an unsuspecting public. As the story unfolds, Byrne becomes a national lightning rod, branded the “kingpin” by PBS in 2021 and identified as the Department of Homeland Security’s top domestic threat in August 2022.

Love the book and the universe building. But the hoax by White European anthropologists claiming all people came out of Africa was debunked years ago. That bit really pulled me out of the book and story. But other than that I loved the book. Great MC, even if it felt like Aleron was fighting Nazis.

Story
Elwood Blues (aka Dan Aykroyd) is on another mission—to tell the full story of how two young actors went from blues lovers to Blues Brothers. In this fascinating audio documentary Aykroyd “gets the band back together”, taking listeners on a road trip through time—from late nights in the early days with John Belushi at Dan’s speakeasy in Toronto, to working with blues legends Aretha Franklin, James Brown, and Ray Charles on The Blues Brothers movie, through the founding of House of Blues, the Blues Brothers 2000 sequel, and beyond.

Some of the character sheet readouts felt too repetitive. So I skipped over those. But otherwise I liked how this set up his domination over the guy that wants him dead.
I already have blook 4 so I look forward to see how op he becomes.

Story
Ash’s life is anything but normal these days. Having discovered his Dao, he’s grown in power. Grown to the point that others are now aware of him and that he could be a danger. In this world of martial arts, only the strong and the ruthless survive. Everyone else is merely a stepping stone on their path of Cultivation or an obstacle to be overcome—or knocked down. It’s a world where the strong rule and the weak die.

Though the hairy warriors number in the tens of thousands, they stand at the brink of extinction; and the new world they landed on isn’t pulling any punches. Jotunheim is a winter wonderland featuring a vast array of monsters: the least of which are hulking lizard-ape Hoardlings, and carnivorous penguins standing a dozen feet tall.

If you can look past the pronouns, gayness, support for minorities and a hate group that "hates minorities" then you should be able to enjoy this book. But man is it tough to listen to a book that's written as if they believe the 2020 election had zero fraud.

Story
Life can be complicated for those who the gods pick as their champions, and for William, it's really no different. Many of these tasks have had consequences however. As always, there are things you need to take on faith when you work for a god, but sometimes their responses can be very frustrating. Especially when they order you not to ask questions, but the welfare of your own child is involved.

The narration felt slightly stilted like he was reading of a teleprompter that was going slightly too slow. So that would pull me out of the book at times. But overall I think Dusty Rhoades did a great job. Thanks for helping to bring the world John Van Stry has shared with us to life.
