Gushing praise. This book hit every mark. It is tremendously fun well written. Vulnerable, fully developed characters, vibrant settings, powerful themes, the writing is stellar. Worth more than one perusal. So glad I bought it.

Story
They say love and hate are the same feelings experienced under different circumstances, and it's true. The man who comes to me in my dreams also haunts me in my nightmares. He is a brilliant lawyer. A skilled criminal. A beautiful liar. A bully and a savior, a monster and a lover. Ten years ago, he made me run away from the small town where we lived. Now, he came for me in New York, and he isn't leaving until he takes me with him.

I don’t always love the aggressive dude kind of books because they have little depth and inevitably there is an monotony of crassness that annoys me. Not so with this book. Sure, a jerk uses base words but it added to character development rather than detracting from the story overall. The story though was full of great twists and turns and the reader can truly get why the emotions justify interpersonal judgement absurdity. The readers did a fantastic job bringing it home. A great listen.

A fantastic listen!
Reviewed: 06-09-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Rock Hard to be better than the print version?
I only listened so I have no idea but I enjoyed the narrator and felt they added to the story.
What did you like best about this story?
Okay so this was really good. The story layers intersected beautifully. There were reasons for the character motivations. The male lead worked hard to give space and time to the female lead whoneeded it. It took time for them to actually get to the physical part and there was follow up for why. I did not review the first book in this series because I did not feel the same way but this book exceeded my expectations and I applaude Ms. Singh for truly hitting the mark.
What about Justine O. Keef’s performance did you like?
Her performance was impassioned and well done. I am always astounded when I forget a female is reading a male role. Bravo!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Holding back from passion takes strength but the bond it forms is Rock Hard.

Super Cheese
Reviewed: 05-07-15
What disappointed you about Claimed?
Look, I am not opposed to sex scenes but this was painful. A thesaurus would benefit this author. I felt like this book was written by scribing a session of an adult with limited vocabulary playing with Barbies .
Would you ever listen to anything by Evangeline Anderson again?
I am horrible with names, so in a year I may be duped into another one. It will not be intentional.
Would you be willing to try another one of Anne Johnstonbrown’s performances?
Sure she was fine given the material.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Claimed?
I am not sure I could not even get to the end. The plot has potential. But whoever edited this book should have definately told the author to repeat any word, much less shock value words, 8-10 times in a paragragh is not going to win an audience.
Any additional comments?
I know I am a bit harsh but these books are expensive. This was so disappointing. I get an author trying to do erotica. But there are much better works out there. Save your credit. If you like this kind of plot try Grim by M.K. Eidem or Abducting Abby or Hunter's Claim by S.E. Smith (Although those are a good bit cheesy as well at least they have more of a variety of how to describe female genitalia.)

After years of playing the rake to hide a dark family secret, the Duke of Aversley feels tainted beyond redemption and cynical beyond repair. Never does he imagine hope will come in the form of a quirky, quick-witted lady determined to win the heart of another gentleman. Thanks to a painfully awkward past, Lady Amelia De Vere long ago relinquished the notion she was a flower that had yet to blossom.

Where does My Fair Duchess rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It was good. It was fun. It was easy to listen to. Not my top listens but still lovely.
What did you like best about this story?
I never got to the "Okay move on." monent that can happen when listening to regency romance. I mean come on we all get there, but there were enough twists to not hit that mark in this book.
What about Tim Campbell’s performance did you like?
Fair but I will say it was easy to fall asleep to.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The scene between mother and son.
Any additional comments?
I like the full flushing out of characters. There is only one true villian which is difficult and well done.

What did you like best about this story?
Sometimes stories of certain genre's become formulaic. Ms. Suttle has veered away from the usual and stretched out the adventure. I think she has done a fantastic job.

Story
For centuries, the extremely powerful and ruthless vampire witches of the European Council have wandered the Earth, controlling governments, fostering war, creating political conflict, and often leaving absolute destruction in their wake. One of the strongest of them is set to create some havoc in the city of New Orleans, and it's definitely personal.

Where does Dark Heir rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
All of Faith Hunter's books are among my favorites. The characters stay in my mind and I always want to know what happens next. This book is no different and I will listen to it more than once or twice.
What did you like best about this story?
Oh so many things to choose from. I love that she has a relationship with someone who is all in. I liked the MOC holding back from touching her. The Younger Bros interplay is fantastic. If I keep going it will seem like gushing.
Have you listened to any of Khristine Hvam’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Ms. Hvam is Jane/Beast. I cannot imagine any other reader. From the first book to now she has settled into the character's skin. The Cherokee words flow more smoothly. I have actually tried other authors because Ms. Hvam was the reader.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I like the waking up with Bruiser. It is clear Jane can handle herself but being able to settle into an embrace has its own magic. She can gain strength from her romantic relationship and the one with the Younger Bros. Molly????
