Story
Craig McNamara came of age in the political tumult and upheaval of the late '60s. While Craig McNamara would grow up to take part in anti-war demonstrations, his father, Robert McNamara, served as John F. Kennedy’s Secretary of Defense and the architect of the Vietnam War. This searching and revealing memoir offers an intimate picture of one father and son at pivotal periods in American history. Because Our Fathers Lied is more than a family story—it is a story about America.

This book encourages me to get out and stand up for children, against the curriculum they are trying to teach our them in schools. Children need to know they are created perfectly the way they are. They don’t need to change themselves to be happy. The enemy is trying to destroy Gods perfect children and we as parents and grandparents must stand up against this satanic attack!
We are created in the perfect image of God, male and female!

Story
As Adolf Hitler and the Nazis seduced a nation, bullied a continent, and attempted to exterminate the Jews of Europe, a small number of dissidents and saboteurs worked to dismantle the Third Reich from the inside. One of these was Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a pastor and author. In this New York Times bestselling biography, Eric Metaxas takes both strands of Bonhoeffer's life—the theologian and the spy—and draws them together to tell a searing story of incredible moral courage in the face of monstrous evil.

Pastor Bonhoeffer was a man whose footsteps all pastors and even everyday people should follow. Had he been listened to in the first place Hitler would mot have been able to murder so many people. He was a man after Gods own heart.
This book physically takes you through Bonhoeffers struggle to get his message out to as many people as possible.
I love the actual letters that are read from him and about him in this book. It shares the deepest thoughts of each person in his life.
I have never read a book more beautifully written!
Thank you Eric for your obvious deep passion to write such a complete book as this. This book has been a blessing to me and also answered many spiritual questions I have had in my 65 years of life.
This book bring clarity and glory to God!

Story
At one time, Corrie ten Boom would have laughed at the idea that she had a story to tell. For the first 50 years of her life, nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to her. She was a spinster watchmaker living contentedly with her sister and their elderly father in the tiny house over their shop in Haarlem. Their uneventful days, as regulated as their own watches, revolved around their abiding love for one another. But with the Nazi invasion and occupation of Holland, everything changed....

Fearfully causing those who are not aware of where it came to come against those who know and are rejecting the lies of needing to have a vaccine and wear a mask. Lord open spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear your lead.

Are your thoughts holding you captive? I’ll never be good enough. Other people have better lives than I do. God couldn’t really love me. Jennie Allen knows what it’s like to swirl in a spiral of destructive thoughts, but she also knows we don’t have to stay stuck in toxic thinking patterns. As she discovered in her own life, God built a way for us to escape that downward spiral. Freedom comes when we refuse to be victims to our thoughts and realize we have already been equipped with power from God to fight and win the war for our minds.

Powerful Words from His-story
Reviewed: 03-25-21
It is no wonder this book changed the history of man and slavery. It filled me with horror and joy at the thought of how humans could treat one another. It tore my heart to believe these stories could possibly be true, and filled me with disgust at the fact that it was. I wondered in the midst of Uncle Toms sufferings if it could be possible for one man to truly be able to hold onto salvation in Christ Jesus with such powerful faithfulness, yet when all else is taken from you what else could one hold onto.
This book has increased my faith in Almighty God and the power of faith in Jesus Christ’s suffering for myself and all mankind. I thank the writer for her faithfulness in writing such a book to change the course of history. Glory to God in the Highest!
