Gaiman gives you a fairytale, nightmare, lovestory all intertwined into a tale that is both new and legend in your mental story archive.

This is a lengthy performance but for most of the book you feel like you are getting both a standup comedy routine and a peek behind the curtain.

I can't even begin to explain the awesomeness of this book. It is gutwrenching and I will need to recover from the trip down memory lane that Hanna took me down as it is one of pain without relief and truth without clean and tidy endings. Her tale is one of unflinching honesty and pure, raw, openness that I doubt many would open up for others to see. I want this to be required reading as it is so very necessary to discussing mental illness and the impact it has beyond just the central player with mental illness

a story about growing up in apartheid and after ~ both hilarious and heartbreaking. Noah's tale is one that only he can tell with both wit and analysis of his own journey through class issues, race issues, and domestic violence

I came for the Lin Manuel Miranda and stayed for the fantastic storytelling of youth, emotional identity and complex family ties. I am so happy i chose this book and ended up crying in my car listening to the end of a chapter more than once.

loved hearing Hardwick read his own book but as there are many points where visuals were necessary i will need to get the real world book to access the information. overall it was amusing and though i am sure Hardwick would cringe at this ~ inspiring or motivating.

i really had high hopes for this book as i like the actor & the write up claimed it was on par with Mindy Kaling (no where near). the stories were not engaging and i found myself actually forming a genuine disgust with kunal as he seemed to be insufferable. don't bother unless you really enjoy sitting through unamusing rambling annecdotes that never reach any point of interest, amusement, or relevance. I hope that this was ghost written and that kunal is not such a self-absorbed bore as he comes across in this book.
