Downloaded this without really looking at it very closely. I was delighted that it was a genuinly good story that also just happened to be an LGBTQ+ love story! I can't wait for the next part to come out!

Story
"No killing Goblins." So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours. It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

Both Author and Narrator ABSOLUTELY deserve praise
Reviewed: 03-04-21
First off, there are not many narrators that I enjoy listening to more than Andrea Parsneau. She was an excellent choice for this story too.
As far as the story is concerned, I don't often find myself unable to put a story down, but this story did it. I loved the contrast between the two characters and the level of development we get as they themselves developed through their respective experiences and traumas. Unlike most books in this genre, I felt we saw the growth and development of normal (or not so normal) people as their whole world is turned upside down. Pirateaba really captured the response to trauma well and made these experiences true catalysts for change in the characters before even really establishing who they were for the reader. This may sound like a negative comment, but I think it shows a level of maturity in the author you don't get in a lot of stories like this.
GREAT JOB!

I really enjoyed this book. I see that there is a second book written and I would love to see it narrated in the same way this one was.

This was a great Fantasy/Adventure story. I highly recommend you give it a try if you have ever played or ever wanted to play DND or any other rpg. It had a great story, funny and real characters and a great voice actor narrating the whole thing.
