Not a typical Ernest Cline but a good story especially for kids. I liked the storyline.

I can’t understand why any of this book is redacted. Most things are 20 plus years old. It’s really distracting at times.

This is a self help book guised in a seal format. The book was good if you’re looking for some self help. It references the seals and many of there mottos. But it is not a typical book about navy seals and their stories.

Great story but it for me got long in the middle. I feel like it could have moved faster at times. I have enjoyed some of Meltzers book other books better.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes and I have this is a great introduction to anyone who has questions about the SEAL comunity.

Who was your favorite character and why?

This book doesn't have a central character. But if I were to choose one it would be Chris Kyle or Marcus Luttrell.

What does Will Damron bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

he does a nice job reading complicated or wordy material at times and he changes his tone to highlight different characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No but I don't do that anyway.

Any additional comments?

It was a great book to learn about the SEALS and what they do and how they are made.

What made the experience of listening to Service the most enjoyable?

Following up with more information about the Lone Survivor book.

What other book might you compare Service to and why?

I have listened to several of the NAvy Seal books all have points that are great so for me there isn't one single book to compare.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the character Gularb came to the U.S. to visit. Also what the Seal team members are willing to do for their brothers without question.

Any additional comments?

I suggest reading/ listening to Lone Survivor first. There are many refrences to it is this book. it was good to hear about what many of the other branches of service do as well. It also sheds a little light on what the wives and childeren of the soldiers give up. Considering the amount of time the Seals dedicate to training and actual operations.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Finishing School to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the printed version I have a Audible account

Would you be willing to try another book from Dick Couch? Why or why not?

Yes absolutly, considering I already have.

What about Arthur Morey’s performance did you like?

It was great

Any additional comments?

The book was very good overall. I really enjoyed learning about many of the different schools that seals can attend.
I did feel that the book could have been a bit shorter at times but I understand the Authors desire to give the information to the reader.

What made the experience of listening to SEAL Team Six the most enjoyable?

The stories

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

no But thats just me i can,t sit and listen to a book for 10 or 11 hours

Any additional comments?

i have been listening to many of the Seal related books. In some ways they blend together because of the similar information in them. But as a guy who was never in the Military they have all been great stories to listen to as I drive.
