Story
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

I didn’t believe this could be as good as everyone said. I’d never read any Sanderson, but I’m so glad I did. The character development is excellent and the narration is as good as it gets. It’s a slow burn to a raging bonfire. Loved it. 10 of 10 no notes.

This book was so good. I had no expectations going in but it was so great. It was touching, and heartfelt, and just so sweet. I love love love it and will read anything else from TJ Klune I can.
The narration was also top notch. The narrator was able to switch characters seamlessly. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation.

Story
The one thing you never talk about while you’re in the Scholomance is what you’ll do when you get out. Not even the richest enclaver would tempt fate that way. But it’s all we dream about: the hideously slim chance we’ll survive to make it out the gates and improbably find ourselves with a life ahead of us, a life outside the Scholomance halls. And now the impossible dream has come true. I’m out, we’re all out. We saved everyone. So much for my great-grandmother’s prophecy of doom and destruction. Ha, only joking! Actually, it’s gone all wrong.

I really enjoyed this book. I love fantasy and mythology and am always up for books of that genre. This book introduced me to new gods and demons and I loved it. Highly recommend. The narrator was also excellent. I would listen to a book just to Hear Yetta Gottesman read.

Story
I decided that Orion Lake needed to die after the second time he saved my life. Everyone loves Orion Lake. Everyone else, that is. Far as I’m concerned, he can keep his flashy combat magic to himself. I’m not joining his pack of adoring fans. I don’t need help surviving the Scholomance, even if they do. Forget the hordes of monsters and cursed artifacts; I’m probably the most dangerous thing in the place. Just give me a chance and I’ll level mountains and kill untold millions, making myself the dark queen of the world.
