And anything read by MARY JANE WELLS even Better!! Her distinguishing voice of each character are easily identified. Unlike other performers who use the same but monotone voice leaving hard to enjoy the book. Thank you Mary Jane!
An earl with demands to marry, and a lady with no such desires despise each other when the Queen sets them on a private but urgent matter. Together! Chaos ensues with perhaps the life of the Queen's Diamond at stake. Excellent reading. On to the next one.

COULD NOT FINISH THIS ONE
Reviewed: 11-06-24
Eden's stories are usually captivating must reads, but this one is - in a word - boring! It might be Justine Eyre's voice that puts me off - the clinched sound from her throat, I can't be sure. Nonetheless...this is the first time I've ever given anything but a 5* review for a favorite author. Oh well! She has others with better narrators.

MARY JANE WELLS - BEST NARRATOR
Reviewed: 10-13-24
Great novella. Loved that each story was centered around the one item that ties them together.
A audible story must have a proper narrator to bring the characters to life. And the authors of this novella with it's connected characters and story chose well with MARY JANE WELLS. I read many stories because of her narrations. Well Done.
