what I appreciate about this book is that it fuses so eloquently the inner and the outer work that we all must face in this world we live in. Stories and anecdotes woven throughout like the way for the path ahead. This book is filled with both inner and outer wisdom, and I highly recommend it.

Many of Brad’s notions parallel my life journey and he writes so clearly about the complexities of living an uneasy examined life. It’s a beautiful book that pairs well with his podcast conversation with Debbie Millman on Design Matters.

Robin’s book weaves together indigenous soulful insight, a botanist’s minds, and a poet’s heart into a masterful story that engages the senses. I read this book during a contemplative week in the wilderness. It was the best companion I could have imagined. I both read (and marked up the hard copy book) and listened to Robin’s soulful voice and words. Thank you, Robin for shaping such a beautiful way finding of heart, mind and soul. This my be the best book I’ve read in he last decade.

There are two ways to read (AKA experience) this book.

First, as a passive learner to gain insight and perspective on your relationship to money, wealth, and abundance.

Second, as an active participant to enliven your relationship to money, wealth, and abundance.

Just as we can’t manage what we aren’t aware of, if you read this book as an active participant in the ways you work with money and how money works for you, you gain actionable clarity on how to change money habits that are no longer serving your highest and greatest needs.

Through The Mindful Millionaire, Leisa Peterson has written a thought-provoking and action-oriented book that can change your experience with money, all while deepening your self-awareness. The book has a spiritual center to it but is filled with pragmatic thinking and tools. The tools and insights within The Mindful Millionaire meet you where you are on your wealth and spiritual journey.

I highly recommend The Mindful Millionaire if:
- You want to increase your clarity on how you see and relate to money and abundance
- If you’re looking to do inner work to change your money story
- If you’re seeking to increase your financial wealth and flow
- If you live with a spiritual center and want to see your finances as a cooperative flow that works for you and with the world around you.

The book is an insight builder, an awareness creator, and a toolkit to drastically change your money relationship for good.

Posting a review here to share how much I loved "Scramble!" It was top-to-bottom quality and a fascinating, insightful read. The characters, the plot, this situation—all plausible and captivating. I loved the insertion of the Uber driver, Sokrates—reminiscent of “Way of the Peaceful Warrior,” a book I loved when I was younger.

Mostly though, I loved how you played out agile strategy in a thriller setting. Really smart and captivating…much like the way things unfold in the real world with a diverse cast of characters, each with roles, strengths and weaknesses contributing (or not) as a team.

It makes me want to get closer to some of the approaches within: how to better apply the 5Qs and the 5Ps.

Well done, Marty! Keep the great books coming.

Denise Lee Yohn offers a critical voice and fresh perspective in the clouded and crowded world of branding. In "What Great Brands Do" she offers key principles for world class brand building while keeping her finger on the pulse of what living, breathing brands face culturally, socially and creatively. She keeps the content moving at a solid pace.

Any additional comments?

Most important, Denise weaves together the range of importance of a brand's culture, their ongoing relationship to audience and a powerful eye to how they view their own products.

Page Turning Fiction

Overall
5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 05-30-10

In typical James Huston fashion this book, in line with his others, turns out to be a real page turner. And, as ususal, Mr. Huston finds an uncommon and creative manner to make the story plausible by weaving in facts and law. Apparently, the ICC is a real institution and this could happen. Scarey stuff.

He also doesn't shy away from bringing today's politics into the story. Mr. Huston points out how President Obama has downgraded the current US military and intelligence stance and blames many of the current problems on President Bush.

I highly recommend this and all of Mr. Huston's books. This one does not disappoint! It's plausible, page-turning fiction. Can't wait to see movies of some of Mr. Huston's books!
