Story
“I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend.” When those words left the lips of Damien Shaw, my childhood nemesis, I should have told him to kick rocks right then and there. But sadly, his scheme to impress his boss left me with something to gain from it too—getting my meddling mother, who was obsessed with my love life, off my back just in time for my parents’ thirtieth wedding anniversary celebration in Hawaii.

Never Say Never audio
5 star listen!!
Dual POV/ dual narrators
Enemies to lovers
Fake dating
Strong FMC
Narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor, both of whom I love as narrators.
Never Say Never was funny, steamy, full of hilarious banter, great characters and just overall a really entertaining read.
Charlotte and Damien were childhood rivals who vowed to not even think of eachother once they left for college, but a chance run-in 12 years later might be exactly what needed to happen to solve the current problems they’re both dealing with.
I love that Charlotte was a strong, driven, independent woman, who surrounded herself with the same type of women (and I can’t wait for all of their stories!) and didn’t let men push her around. Damien had me hardcore swooning from the very beginning. Those steamy scenes had me MELTING. I listened to a good portion of this in my car and I found myself driving with a smile on my face, tears down my cheeks and feeling very squirmy in my seat multiple times.
I have come to love Harlow James’ writing and am eager to read the next books from this series and anything else she writes!

I didn’t know I was pregnant. Ayden walked away from me a decade ago and never looked back. The only thing he left me was our sweet, amazing daughter. And a mile-long list of small town secrets. When his father—the town’s mayor—threatens me, Ayden’s childhood best friend steps in. And I have no choice but to fight the battles he ran away from.

Second Chance Romance
Reviewed: 08-17-23
Brooke Montgomery is a new to me author and I am hooked after this book. The audio on this is so good and brings the characters to life. I love the accents and the really love the charm Bradley Ford brings to Aiden’s character!
Tropes you’ll find:
•cowboys
•small town
•second chance
•secret child/accidental pregnancy
Aiden leaves Beaumont, TX and his high school sweetheart after graduation to escape his abusive father. He begs Lainey to come with him, but she can’t leave her mom. Fearing that his dad will attempt ti find him through Lainey, he doesn’t tell anyone where he’s going and changes his number. Both are left completely heartbroken.
11 years later, Lainey shows up where Aiden’s been living/working with a lot of secrets to reveal. This is the story of their heartbreak and finding love again. There is laugh out loud banter, sexy as sin dirty talk from Aiden and overall, a great story!
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series about Noah and her ex-boyfriends dad!!

Pike and Jordan are age gap goals!
Reviewed: 08-05-23
I love a good age gap story and this one did not disappoint! I read the book awhile back, but decided to give the audio a listen. It was so HOT! There were a few times where I had to take a break and cool off. The narrators did a great job portraying these characters and dual narration is always a plus!
Rereading (listening to) this story reminded me how much I loved it the first time I read it.
This has age gap, ex-boyfriends dad, dirty talk and so many steamy scenes! Highly recommend if any of those are your favs, and still highly recommend even if they aren’t 😅

Holy heck! These were some hot and spicy stories, but also had a plot to go along.
The narrators did an awesome job at bringing these characters to life.
This box set follows three “couples”. The first is a friends/roommates to lovers story featuring Delilah “Dia” and Cole.
Next up is a MFM/BDSM story featuring Jade and Miles and Carson. The third story is a second chance, secret pregnancy romance featuring Ruby and Joshua.
All of these stories contain mature content and are oh, so good!
4/5 stars. Recommend the audio for a full experience featuring dual narration.
Hope we’ll get to hear all the other ladies’ stories too!!

Story
I once thought one of my ruthless boys could be the killer I’m hunting. They’re all dark, deadly, and more than capable of brutality. But now, I’m held by the King I’ve been stalking in the shadows, and when I unmask him, he’ll realize he made a huge mistake in taking my brother from this world.

The best series ever! I just finished listening to all the books on audio and I still love it as much as the first time I read it!!
There’s heartache, but there’s HEA and it’s so much sweeter when it’s been fought for!
Always, always recommend these books!!
I love the female narrator, Angelina Rocca, for this last book! I’m hoping to find more books with her as narrator. And as always, Troy Duran kills it as our favorite guys! Definitely listen to the audio if you haven’t already!

Story
My plan was to meet a boy, fall in love, and live happily ever after. That ended when my boyfriend died and left me half of his business. Now, his best friend and I are business partners. There’s just one problem: We hate each other. Jax and I have been rivals since childhood. He wants me out of the business, but it’s all I have left. The more time we spend together, the more we question if we were ever rivals at all.

Loss, Grief, Second Chances and HEA
Reviewed: 07-26-23
Dual narration is always my favorite and these narrators really brought this story to life! I immediately checked to see what other audiobooks were narrated by Connor Crais (Jax) because holy heck 🥵 I listen to books at x1.7 and both narrators sounded great.
Christopher is Amelia’s fiancé. Christopher is Jackson’s best friend and business partner. Amelia and Jackson hate each other. But Amelia and Jackson also kept a big secret from Chris. This is their story, and it’s a good one that’s filled with hurt, betrayal, groveling, second chances, and love. Also some dirty talk and spicy scenes!
Jax and Amelia’s story is an enemies to lovers, ex-fiancé’s best friend, second chance, angsty romance. This story deals with loss and grief, and also the guilt when a loved one unalives themselves and leaves those around them to pick up the broken pieces.
I love that this story talked about mental health struggles/depression and didn’t sugarcoat it.
Overall, I loved this book and recommend to anyone that loves the tropes listed.

Story
He’s my art professor. I’m his student. With an electric connection and undeniable chemistry, I know it won’t be long until one of us cracks. When the opportunity arose to pose nude for a life drawing workshop, I couldn’t help the thrill of knowing he’d be watching. While everyone else looked past me with their eyes narrowed and concentrated, drawing only the lines and angles of my body, he saw right through me down to my vulnerability. Professor Hampton looked at me like he wanted to do more than look at me. He saw more than just the physical aspects—he saw me.

Taboo Romance at its Best!
Reviewed: 07-21-23
I loved this story-I’m a sucker for forbidden romance. This is a college student/professor (8 year age gap) relationship.
As much as I loved the romance in this story, I was even more blown away by the brutally honest way the author talked about anxiety, depression and grief. It was beautifully done and gave so much more to the story. Very well done 👏🏻
Aspen is a college art major who leaves home for college to get away from her toxic parents. Her sister’s death from 6 years prior still haunts her and she lives with the guilt which causes crippling anxiety attacks. She meets Mr Hampton, who also is living with guilt after his brother passed and they hadn’t spoken in 5 years, in one of her night courses and their pull to each flows organically as the talk about healing through art and the loss of siblings and slowly open up to each other.
There is a HEA. This is a romance with explicit bedroom scenes (so very good)!
This is the second book I’ve read/listened to by this author and she is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
The dual narration helps bring the story to life and I love the voices of the narrators. *I listen at x1.8 speed and they sounded great throughout the book.
