Story
Our retro-tech towns might seem idyllic, yet go beyond the arcades and coffee shops and you'll reach the danger zones roamed by bionic bots. Me? I ran a video store with my cute friend Emiko. She's always been a little different, so I had to look out for her—we usually just watched movies and played games together. One day, a suspicious pink-haired chick burst into the store, warning me not to watch a tape labeled Property of Steelheart—Do Not Watch! So obviously, I did, and a terrifying ghost crawled out of the screen.

Story
I had a great time during my chaotic first year at the academy, where I learned about my demonic powers and made a few gorgeous friends. My sophomore year is starting early, introducing me to new classes and new girls, including a quiet tomboy named Andie and an obsessive redhead named Emma. The girls aren’t the only ones on my radar though. News of an ancient demonic artifact surfaces for the first time in generations, and somehow, it’s linked to me. It’s going to take every connection I have to find it, and it just might lead to something that can destroy the entire Nine Circles.

Author splits what the people say too much, plus the voice actoress for the Latin girl sounds like a country hick, would change that to a neutral voice at the very least.

My life was far from perfect, revolving around a dead-end school and caring for my sickly mother. It’s not until a chance encounter with a beautiful and mysterious blonde that I learn the truth about myself. You see, I’m not just an ordinary human. I’m a demon lord, potentially one of the strongest that’s ever lived. it's an ok story but I always have and always will despise what the author does in the prolog. Please stop giving the end of the story, it ruins the book.

Story
Ever since the System invaded Earth, I had dreamt of becoming a powerful wizard. Sure, the manor I picked as my lair was a rundown, haunted dump, and a crazy cult had tried to murder me, but it all worked out in the end. I even picked up a few house guests–a sexy ghost, a Drow blacksmith, and a tricksy Arachne scholar We are settling into our new normal—home repairs, researching the dark past of my hometown, and delving into frigid dungeons—when we discover a thief draining mana from my lair. They’re threatening everything I built.

Story
When Leo started college, all he wanted was to be just another ordinary student. During the years he would spend at Mythos, he wouldn’t be a dragon god, a prince, or even his parents’ son. Living and studying there, he would have the chance to be the kind of person who goes to parties after classes, makes friends with classmates, and maybe even asks a girl out. The kind of person—student—whose biggest worries are bad grades, getting turned down by a cute girl, and boring or unlikeable teachers. He should have known things wouldn’t be that simple.

Voice actor trips up over words at some points then says them correctly later, don't know of author messed up the words or voice actor did.

I don’t know who I am. I only know what I need to be. I awoke in a tomb. I had nothing but a big sword and uncertain memories from uncertain lives. I was a great warrior who wandered this land before being killed by an ageless tyrant wizard-king. I was a warrior of a very different sort, who lived in a city of steel and glass.

I do love how Micheal integrates different series together, something I wish more would do instead of massive seies.
Only complaint is the whole "My Woman" thing got old and the voice acting could have been better, but they did a good job.

Mediocre At Best
Reviewed: 08-18-24
Mediocre story, author put in way too many instances of laughter at weird points, scenes that don't quite make sense as if the author didn't know how to work through the moment. Simply, if you're bored and need some mediocrity, then fine.
