Story
I can spin gold, I lie. With my life at stake, I have no other choice. I get one chance to turn my lie into truth, and I'm shocked when I succeed. But now the cruel human king demands I become his wifepassing between his bed and being locked away in a tower, spinning gold until my last breath. My only way out is to summon him. A brutal Fae prince. The deal we strike is sickening, but it's the only way I'll live after I'm caught escaping. My new captor drags me back to his realm.

Very unexpected

I’ve read stories similar to rumplestiltskin but this is a balance of being different. The plot had a lot of up and down and easy to follows. I would read the next one to see what would happen. I’m sure there would be many rollercoaster rides with the next one as this one had. All in all I enjoyed it. The narrator did a great job bringing out all the characters.

Story
A marriage of convenience proves to be magically inconvenient, and no spell will get them out of it or calm their burning desires. Being a legacy witch comes with expectations, and, unfortunately, when Gammy shares that she’s sick, Petra becomes the front-runner for the role of Premier Witch, a part she’s never really wanted. The inconvenient catch? Traditionally, the Premier Witch must be married, and a combative supernatural council member is only too happy to point out.

This book was easy to read. Very fluffy, romantic, convenient. Recommend for 18 and older. Cute short romance read with some spice if you know what I mean.

Story
After Rose takes something deeply important to Hanna, the Seer is determined to hunt the tricky magic user down, no matter what. Hanna pools all her resources together, tugging on any string she can think of, including going to the necromancers and employing the help of a surly ghost named Frank. When Hanna discovers the necros are also hunting Rose and if they kill her all the enslaved spirits will be trapped forever, she must find the witch first or else risk losing everything that means anything.

I think this one was the best one yet. It has so much more twists and turns in this book even though Brandon wasn’t present much in this book. It focus so much on Hanna and her growing stronger in her powers. She’s a high schooler so the story does capture her teenager essence. Thank you again to Jess on bringing her character to life. This felt like a fast pace novel that I am sad that I read the end and can’t wait for the next book read. It’s a true gem. The ending left a huge cliff hanger 🥲
