Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

He never fails as an actor, and this is definitely one of the best works of arts of his to date in my opinion. His story telling, transparency, and honesty are very relatable. I cannot wait to buy the hard copy and the workbook. This book has helped me with things I struggle with from my past. It has helped me to see that some of those "red lights" were actually "green lights".

Horrible
Reviewed: 01-02-23
The only way to describe the narration here is something between "A Christmas Story" and "Perry Mason'. it was awful. The story itself was ok I suppose but the ending left me almost screaming "oh for crying out loud! You cannot be serious! How absolutely cheesy". I had to really listen and tell myself it was going to get better if I just ignored the poor narration but it never did.

I really enjoyed this title. It was funny, good story plot, enough twist and turns to keep you intrigued. The only downfall is the choice of narrator.

one of the best stories I've listened to

At first I was getting lost because this story is from the point of view from 3 people but I caught on really quick. The plot was amazing and it was carried out in an addictive manner. it was hard to turn off once I started it. The twists and turns, the realism of the situations, not far fetched at all, the edge of your seat moments, the pain and sympathy/ empathy you feel.....all of it was just absolutely great. Definitely recommend listening, will probably listen again in the future.

Kevin Bacon did an amazing job narrating this.
The story line is a mysterious one, not easily deciphered in your own mind. It keeps you listening, trying to figure out where it's going, what'sgoing to happen next, and how it will end....but you can't.
The end, I will not spoil, is one of hope, triumph, joy, and peace.

Edge of your seat excitement and the story line was great. Great ending also. I think I figured out pretty quickly (chapter 1) that something was amiss here but it got better and better as the story goes on.
This was a quick read but well worth it. Listened to it right before bed....hope I don't have nightmares tonight, this story is what nightmares are made of.

This story keeps you captivated as you navigate all the twists and turns. The end was amazing! Did not see it coming but I love stories/movies with this sort of twist. The narrator was great! He reminded me of the narrator of "Forensic Files" which was perfect for this book!

Story
Gloria French was a jolly widow with dyed blonde hair, a raucous laugh, and rosy cheeks. When she first moved from London to the charming Cotswold hills, she was heartily welcomed. She seemed a do-gooder par-excellence, raising funds for the church and caring for the elderly. But she had a nasty habit of borrowing things and not giving them back. They're just small things - a teapot here, a set of silverware there - so it's quite the shock when she is found dead, murdered with a poisoned bottle of elderberry wine.
