It was well written, the narrator was great, but there just wasn’t anything particularly exciting about the story line. I finished it because I kept hoping something new would happen, but it was pretty much the same as many of the Author’s other novels. It was a nice light listen, but it wasn’t very enthralling.

This was such a cute, HILARIOUS, and I mean can't-hold-it-in-laugh-out-loud funny story! It was also somewhat more realistic than the typical romance novel, for which I applaud the author. The narrators were pretty good. They aren't my favourite (of course everyone has a bit of a bias) but they were easy to listen to and did a really good job with emotional inflections. I highly recommend this as a read or a listen!

For years I've loved historical romance, especially those with a good brawny Scott, and I'm so glad I stumbled across this one! After reading the reviews on this series, I did something I almost never do. I consciously chose to read this one, technically it's the 4th in the series, first because I was told the first three weren't as great and weren't really tied to the subsequent books in the series. And I'm so glad I did! It was very well written, the story and and characters were perfect and it felt like the first book in a series. I definitely recommend reading this to anyone who loves romance novels with good strong female characters! I can't wait to listen to the next one after this! Also, the narrator was amazing!!! One of the best I've listened to in a while.

There's no way I'll fall for Wyatt Hennington. He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick-up lines all to himself. I made the mistake of sleeping with him not once, but twice. I'm not stupid enough to give him round three, especially after he left me in the middle of the night so I could see myself out. I vow to return to Philadelphia and forget him.

Overall, it was a nice read, but I found the middle to be a bit slow and I feel like they kind of rushed the ending. I also would have liked to have more of his point of view, I feel like I was bit shortchanged on his perspective.
If you can catch it on sale, like I did, I totally recommend it, it was definitely a sweet standard romance, but I wouldn't bother paying full price for it.

The narrator was brilliant, the story riveting and heartfelt, the characters charming, and all around awesome! Definitely recommend this to anybody who loves a good historical romance!

Jason Thorn...my brother's childhood friend. Oh, how stupidly in love with that boy I was. He was the first boy who made me blush, my first official crush. Sounds beautiful so far, right? That excitement that bubbles up inside you, those famous butterflies you feel for the very first time - he was the reason for them all. But you get to live in that fairy tale world only until they crush your hopes and dreams and then stomp on your heart for good measure. And boy did he crush my little heart into pieces.

I'll be honest, I didn't think much of Buck/Miller after the first book, but seeing his side and understanding his character much more, I'll admit I was totally wrong! He's adorable and sweet and so perfect for Sunny. I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did and I'm glad I was wrong. If you liked the first one definitely keep going, so far they just keep getting better!
