Every couple years I break out my books to read again this series of books. This time around I decided to go audible. I really wish that the performers listened to prior books so that the punctuation was consistent.

Story
In Abide with Me, Harris returns with the utmost finesse to his signature themes of love, friendship, and family, and craftily guides his irresistible characters through new challenges and heartbreaks, and ultimately to redemption through love. At the end of Just As I Am, Raymond Tyler, Jr., was beginning a relationship with Trent, a fraternity brother from his college days, while Nicole had found love with Jared, Raymond's buddy from Atlanta.

Like the book

Every several years I get the urge to reread his books as I like them that much. This time I thought I use unused credits to listen. My only knock, I really didn't like the vocal tones as he shifted from character to character. I would have preferred he not shift tone.

Story
Known as The Mayor of Castro Street even before he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Harvey Milk's personal life, public career, and final assassination reflect the dramatic emergence of the gay community as a political power in America. It is a story full of personal tragedies and political intrigues, assassinations at City Hall, massive riots in the streets, the miscarriage of justice, and the consolidation of gay power and gay hope.

Story
In Homeboys, we ride shotgun with the wild and fancy-free outlaws of the streets. What happens when two horny members from LA’s notorious Crips and Bloods are involved in a secret love affair? Or when a few members of the Greasers and the Socs meet for hot group sex in an abandoned freight train? Feel what it's like to keep it on the DL with Del, Norteos-style, and listen all about how to get hazed by Asian Boyz.

Ok listen
Reviewed: 03-05-16
As a reader of this genre, this book was an ok listen. There were a few of the stories I didn't get further than a few minutes. I tend to bore easy. There were a couple I did listen to a second time. Overall 3 out of 5 is a strong rating for me. For 4s and 5s I have to really love it.

I didn't like how the reader pronounced the Halcyon name. There were a few other words mispronounced as well. The producer should have corrected the reader.
