The conclusion to the series was satisfying because the villain is exposed and destroyed, the fated mates win, the Terran women are no longer in danger of violence and enslavement, and the mates get a HEA.

The three books in this collection are all quite different in the basic situations which makes them very interesting to read. This is the best compilation so far.

The US GOVERNMENT is a disgrace now and is this series. The space ship crash kills almost everyone in the ship. About 2 dozen women survive and are saved by the exiled Voxeran warriors. They are all on a prison planet where everyone is dangerous and so are the natural flora and fauna. These are the stories of 3 couples.

Great series but I would like more books in this world. There are many sentient species to explore.
Mates of the Kilgari #7
Part 1
Swift and Ilea with their baby boy Ral are the stars of the first book. They go sans baby to get an ancient archeologist, Dr, Suez, information regarding the “ark of terror”. Lokur is in this in a supporting capacity.
Part 2
Thrace, Zander, and very active unborn baby boy, Tyco, are anxiously awaiting the birth. Lokur is with Zander trying to find the assassin. The person who hired the assassin is “Guillotine”.
The couple, along with Dr. Suez, are sent off ship for safekeeping while the Queen tries to trap the assassin. Dr. Marzu is sent to deliver the baby.
Part 3
Lameera, Grantian, and baby boy Dar are the stars.
Mara Chambers was thought to have been dead right before the women were rescued. She was resurrected in part as a cyborg. Mara blames Varia for her “death”. She has been the hit man for the mercenary company the “Star Crushers” and eliminated people who reduced the profitability of mercenary companies.
Part 4

Solare and Varia baby girl Trabu as well as Lokur and the cyborg Mara are the stars of the book.
Mara has escaped from her incarceration. She wants to kill Varia and has taken the Queens doctor hostage. If she dies Dr. Suez will die.

The two most intellectually gifted crew members join forces to infiltrate Blue Dawn, one of the villains of the series. Thrace and Zander plan on rescuing the usual navigator for their ship, the “Ancestral Queen”. Their relationship grows and through their misadventures they find that their love has led them through. Many things about Blue Dawn are exposed but definitely not all that they need.

The human women were falsely arrested by the IHA. They were then given to mercenaries who took them to be sold as slaves. Those who were rescued by the pirates were accused of espionage and ruthlessly hunted. The pirates are helping the women find out why. This book gets them closer to the inner rot behind their capture.

The story/series is well written and thought out. The hero and heroine both get their own chance to shine because their capabilities are exactly what is needed in a situation. The attraction is a slow burn in the beginning and explosive towards the end. The acting of the narrators is very good.

Well written but I would have preferred more suspense. The villains are yet even known at the end of book one’s story. Obviously the women can’t go back home but not even a clue about who is behind their frame-up. I got 3 books so I will definitely keep reading the rest of them. I do like the characters so far.
