Story
Emilia Drakon was once the youngest and kindest of the dragon sorcerers, but she's now the last of her kind. Betrayed and angry, she trades her meekness for a sword and embarks on a quest for vengeance that will lead her straight into the arms of the legendary Captain Maria Welles. Captain of the famed pirate ship, the Wicked Fate, Maria is every bit as treacherous and bloodthirsty as they say. She has her own vendetta and practically jumps at the chance to trick Emilia into joining her crew.

Story
Princess Aurora. The last heir to Briar’s throne. Kind. Gracious. The future queen her realm needs. One who isn’t bothered that I am Alyce, the Dark Grace, abhorred and feared for the mysterious dark magic that runs in my veins. Humiliated and shamed by the same nobles who pay me to bottle hexes and then brand me a monster. Aurora says I should be proud of my gifts. That she...cares for me. Even though a power like mine was responsible for her curse. But with less than a year until that curse will kill her, any future I might see with Aurora is swiftly disintegrating

Not good

I wanted to like this so much. Made it almost to half and am figuring out how to return. Not only is it an info-dumping, poorly written novel. It’s just … bad. I don’t think I’ve disliked any sapphic fantasy book ever…. Never enough to not finish for sure. This is garbage. If you listened to two sentences… all but maybe three words are all just adjectives… and not even good like where it paints a picture in your head.
Complete and utter OVERKILL. Now how the heck do I get my credit back..

Story
Nearly two decades after it closed, the South Carolina State Hospital continues to hold a palpable mystique in Columbia and throughout the state. Founded in 1821 as the South Carolina Lunatic Asylum, it housed, fed, and treated thousands of patients incapable of surviving on their own. The patient population in 1961 eclipsed 6,600, well above its listed capacity of 4,823. By the mid-1990s, the patient population had fallen under 700, and the hospital had become a symbol of captivity, horror, and chaos.

Man I grew up with David spade. Grew up watching just shoot me, to emperors new groove, Joe dirt grown ups always loved him. This book however didn’t flow right.. it’s like he’s trying too hard with sound effects and changing his voice or something. I was like wtf is this crap? Idk it just… wasn’t good. Some parts were funny but he seems to be really hyper focused on porn then keeps saying “they give me a reputation of being this skirt chaser” and just keeps talking about porn over and over. Best part was crabs and his dad using comb… rest of book was mediocre at BEST
