strong female protagonist... snarky and witty but wholesome and good at the same time. Fabulous story and I could listen to this narrator all day long... she always brings these stories to life and fits perfectly. I've listened to all 7 in this series and I enjoy the intermixing of characters from previous books entering the subsequent books in the series so you get a glimpse of what's happened after you left them off. These are among my all-time favorites and highly recommend this series!

Story
When a dragon bulldozes through a portal and into the grounds of her Texas school, Ophelia Monroe can barely believe her eyes. Dragons and magic are just fairy tales, right? Then the dragon bonds with her to spite a Fae prince, and suddenly Ophelia is dragged into a different realm: a world of Fae intrigue and deception where, as Prince Corrin informs her, her dragon bond has made her Queen of the Fae.

This author does a masterful job creating a whole new realm and it's people and culture and drawing you into it. This introduces you to this fae world and a different take on being bonded to a dragon's soul... even if the body is no longer alive and granting access to magic on a whole new level... narration well done also.

The epic story was well told. Plot flowed well, characters were well developed. Narration was superb. I hope there are more installments as we were left with the impression that there was something bigger and badder behind the scenes and so I feel there's more story to come... I hope.
